So since Ornn's been out a while, I thought it was a good time to talk about this, Ornn has given us a pretty good chunk of lore and I have an idea. For starters we know Ornn likes to talk in grunts rather then words, and when he uses words he doesn't use a lot, more phrases, less sentences, and yes I know in game he talks a lot, but in game is a lot different since well, mostly its not cannon. Anyways he also is very powerful, almost godlike or a demigod even. He has the power to shape the earth and actually shaped frejlord itself, along with the mountains he gave frejlord its iconic (kinda) snow.

Now is there any other champ that is A. a man of few words B. likes to talk or use grunts to express things rather then words and C. can shape the earth around them, and is on a godlike level? well I think there is

After the introduction of demigods, I expect Rammus' VGU to make him one. I hope that he will get it really soon.

Yeah, to me rammus being a demigod (of sorts) of shurima makes sense, especially now with the release of Ornn, I hope it is what they are going for, one can only hope. [sg-soraka]

I doubt it. As far as I know, the ascension has to do with Mount Targon, they are "borrowing" power from outside their own world.

Meanwhile demigods are personification of natural forces and are originating from Runeterra. I think these are unrelated.

The ascension is Shuriman. Xerath is literally called "The Magus Ascendant".

I know, but as far as I know, the ritual is related to the aspects of Mount Targon, isn't It? As far as I know, Shurima got the sun disk from them.

Ornn isn't ascended, ascension is a shuriman thing, where you stand in front of the sun disc, after being chosen, and you become a godlike being. the ascended champs we so far have (off the top of my head) are, REEEEEEEEEEnekton, Xerath, Nasus, and Azir. Since we don't have any concrete evidence, Rammus could be an ascendant, but what im stating is that, Rammus might be closer to Ornn, Ornn was just bornn from no where (at least from what we have), he apears to have just. Popped into runeterra one day, I am also pointing out Rammus and Ornn are pretty similar, they both like grunts rather then real words, they both seem to have godlike/demigod level powers, they both can shape the earth around them, etc.

Aurelion calls them demigods because their godlike powers were given to them, whereas with Ornn and Volibear, they are likely called demigods due to bring 'birthed' from a greater being, the true God of the Freljord, or perhaps another theory.
