It really looks like Malphite to me, but someone on the Youtube comment section mentioned something along the lines of, "this is what happens when you try to jungle without mana" and I was like "Wait, that's Red Brambleback?" I'm confused now.

EDIT: Nah, it's definitely not Brambleback. It's Malphite.

According to the description, it's an elemental titan.

I think the trailer is good, too bad people keep hating on it.

Is this… Dark Souls? So embers. Much ruins. Wow.

Sorry ADCs, I'm gonna need you to build the sightstone. >:D

at first same but it actually looks more like some sort of rock version of Rek'Sai?

Like it even had the sounds and everything with her.

Edit: Also whats with her hair? Everything looks like lux....or similar, except her hair. Her hair is just.....not lux? Like why? Besides that tho fantastic trailer :D

It's actually the same creature as the one within Poppy's comic "Hero Within"

Except...bigger.

Also, is Lux not allowed to get a new hair style based on transformations?

WaldodoggJan 9, 20171 votes

Looks like malphite...is way bigger than malphite...my guess lies with that thing being the monolith...(malphite, shard of the monolith) (mostly because i figure whatever malphite chipped off of is just a bigger version of himself)...or at the very least another shard of the monolith...malphites brother if you will

(Also malphite doesnt walk on his hands soooo)

Anyone feeling disappointed by this trailer?

Supreme Senpai69Nov 29, 20164 votes

Lots of cuts between the actual content but the quality of the content is amazing. They probably couldn't keep it up for two minutes due to budget constraints. All in all I'm super hyped, so it probably is just you, but I guess I can see it

Lux, when thinking about her Kingdom

A Superb VillainNov 29, 20165 votes

So in this reality Lux became queen. Interesting.

SandrahyNov 29, 20161 votes

No, Lux is born to a super wealthy family, the Crownguard.

Basically this is how I imagine her (the light form) while she is at 'home' in Demacia (her own residence), not her armor that she uses for battle.

Born to the prestigious Crownguards, the paragon family of Demacian service, Luxanna was destined for greatness. She grew up as the family's only daughter, and she immediately took to the advanced education and lavish parties required of families as high profile as the Crownguards.

But of course, this could be AU, but who cares, this skin is so beautiful ; - ;

A Superb VillainNov 29, 20163 votes

Most skins are AU, and it seems this one is.

A kingdom hangs on the edge of ruin as an army of titanic elemental beasts wage war on humanity. The last line of defense is held by a lone warrior queen, Elementalist Lux. To save her people, she must look within and reveal her true nature...no matter what form it takes.

That's the skin description.

SandrahyNov 29, 20161 votes

I was to excited to read anything so xD

most things kind of just went over my head :3

It's pretty typical me, sorry, but that won't change the fact this is how I imagine she dresses like while at home :3

FattyPainBringerNov 29, 20163 votes

dude and the skin is awsome! even the art when you select it is animated! best skin ever!

oh totally worth paying the 500 rp for the master edition while it's cheap

SpecterVonBarenNov 29, 20163 votes

Lux is such a noob, switches to fire type instead of water or grass to fight a rock type pokemon.

Sraeg2013Nov 29, 20162 votes

It ain't a fantasy without running and jumping on highly uneven terrain in combat stilettos.

SupaflyNov 29, 20162 votes

The biggest and "heftiest" (in my opinion) addition to this skin isn't just the multiple skins the player can use but also the countless multitude of Voiceovers that coincide with the skin chosen. IT"S NICE! Admittedly, some friends and I wished she could change skins at will (like Sona's) and all of us pretty much called her "walking chroma skin Lux at first until we used her." The sheer multitude of voiceovers and particle fx can justify the "Ultimate" title. The experience for each game if you can take the time to listen to her Voiceovers and interactions is pretty incredible.

Imagine personal moments of satisfaction killing Janna in Wind or Storm form, Nami in Water, Brand in Fire or Magma form, Arclight skins in base Light form, Ivern or Elderwood champs in Nature form, frost themed champs in Frost form, or Darkstar skin champs in Dark elemental form, or even using opposite elements for more role play - etc, etc... I mean the ability to have moments like this in the game can be absolutely refreshing for the Lux player.

Hey, does anyone know where to download (or push some buttons) to get that friggin amazing song??

PlacentasNov 29, 20162 votes

https://soundcloud.com/leagueoflegends/elementalist-lux-login-screen-music click it. do it. :)

Ed the ConquerorNov 29, 201610 votes

Thanks for digging the music, I had a great time writing it!

While it shares the same musical DNA as the login screen, the piece accompanying "The Light Within" is different. Keep your eyes on our SoundCloud page today or tomorrow :)

DemosthentineNov 29, 20161 votes

My client is not playing the login music, and where the option to hear it is, its grayed out. Suggestions?

Ed the ConquerorNov 29, 20162 votes

I'd contact Player Support - sorry to hear you're having difficulties!

Dalinar1173Nov 30, 20161 votes

Holy cow thank you so much! You just made finals week bearable! No, but seriously, this is the reason why LoL is my most played game. The devs care about the community in a way that amazes me.

Ed the ConquerorNov 30, 20163 votes

Good luck on with your finals!!!

GreenBoÍNov 29, 20161 votes

I feel like i want to cry T_T soo fabulous ...

PlacentasNov 29, 20161 votes

Love it <3 Worth the wait entirely. Oh man, when she screams! Lux :(!

SancreNov 29, 20161 votes

The trailer is great, short, but i liked it a lot, but i'm more interested in the lore behind this skin, where did these elemental creatures came from? did they repel the Void and then these things came? apart from malphite, how do the rest look? Is this Lux a mage that learned element or she is somewhat made the same way that these elemental beast, so she can now control and morph into the known forms?

Many questions that will probably go unsolved, like what happen with most Ultimate skin storylines

Just Blame JennyNov 29, 20161 votes

Totally not worth it. Totally bought it anyway.

grumble, grumble Rito, take all my money.

Mama SorakaNov 29, 20161 votes

The laugh isn't sickeningly cute enough. How am I supposed to spam laugh with this skin?

Pakku Ito Nov 29, 20161 votes

T_T Being poor sucks.

VesemirNov 29, 20161 votes

Make Malphite look like this please.

That is not Malphite. I mean it surely seems like Obsidian Malphite but no freaking way. It's shapes are different and the face looks like one of a Xer'Sai. Besides, it crawls on it's arms which Malphite doesn't even do in his splashes.

revliledpembrokeNov 29, 20161 votes

I still think Lux looks a lot like Bellona from Smite's cinematics

bad arcade kittyNov 29, 20161 votes

i mean those facial scratches

p.s. also i take it it's lux tries to jungle and has problems with the red buff

Sorry to bother you but what is the name of the studio that made the video? (you should really make that appear in the clip or in the video description, we're always having hard time to find it...)
