Skins In 2019; potential hint to Legendary VS. Event?
So, with the recent Skins in 2019 video posted today, I Am Carlos hinted/forwarned of returning skinlines, including PROJECT:, Star Guardian, Arcade, and most notably, Legendary VS., but in the same breath as he mentions the Legendary VS. universe, he states;
"But it won't be the usual Legendary Vs. Legendary edgelord skins - instead, it's gonna be a much more light-hearted experience, where we're going to finally answer the lifelong question, of who is better; in Cats Vs. Dogs."
And, I can see how that'd easily throw off anyone and everyone. That sounds like they're planning on coinciding the Legendary VS event of 2019 with April 1st.
But, here's the thing. Last year's Legendary VS already answered that lifelong question. The Legendary VS. skins were themed as Lion Vs. Wolf - or, y'know. Cats vs. Dogs.
So, why would they do a light-hearted rehash of last year's Legendary VS event? It makes no sense, and, I mean, the Legendary VS universe was built on that edgelord fantasy of angels vs. demons, unflinching Order versus unbridled Chaos.
Well, let's fast-forward to the very end of the video.
"Thank you again for being amazing, fantastic, wonderful, and legendary, like Zed and Jhin."
I can't fathom I Am Carlos straight-up namedropping Zed and Jhin as "legendary" at the end of the video without that being a hint to something, and given the jokey nature of how he talked about the Legendary VS. event, I think our next rivalry to grace the land of immortals will be between the two Ionian Assassins who've vowed to kill one another.
Granted, it could just be a generic hint at them getting Legendary skins sometime this year, but, some part of me just can't help but imagine that them being namedropped together means something.
What do you guys think? Should we prepare to see Order and Chaos brought by shadow, blade, and gun? Or am I just reading too far into things?
