I mean it would be really lame to take that out of her character, and I named my PBE account "The Soulforged" as a reference to her determination, her being a blacksmith, and the fact that it's the name of one of the songs by one of my favorite bands D: She never really had reference to it in game, but I think it added to her character as this badass blacksmith yordle, which I don't feel now.
Up for debate. We know nothing about Poppy's past right now, only her present, which is travelling to Demacia to find the hero who is actually her.
A great many things are subject to change about her history, and while I personally doubt her father will remain alive, anything is possible at this point. Her history will probably have strong ties with that hammer though, regardless of what has actually been made for her.
Also RIOT! Does Poppy's hammer have a name, or is it something the hero will name?
I wonder if they are going to rewrite Galio, too?
