What do you think "Something In the Brush" champion/skin will be?

I'm hoping its either:

A harpy

A bug/bird animal

Or a jungle/assassin yordle.

If its a bug/bird I dont want it to be humanoid or be super thoughtful, more like Kha'Zix.

Seriously though, just the sounds make me very curious. Sounds like something avian that we haven't seen before in League.

Most of the animal champs we have are furries or transformers. It'd be nice to get a normal, but giant and powerful, animal like Gromp but unlikes Cho'Gath. Anivia is a good example.

Yes it does. However we've got someone who gets movespeed in the brush. We've got someone who's got leaps from the brush. We've got someone who builds up headshot stacks in the brush.

I think a teleport to the brush seems possible and it leaves open a lot of power in the champion's kit for other things.

PS. The sound the creature makes reminds me of Rodan, a lot.

It could work but I think we can find something better.

Nidalee, Rengar, and Caitlyn all work with brush but they have totally different effects.

True we could find something better. However I wouldn't be surprised that after TK, Reksai, Talyah, Bard's E, and Aussie's E that riot tries something else like that. They are really pushing mobility in kits these past 2 years.

I mean, we've already got Azir, who is although very armored, a falcon-based Ascendant, and Swain, who is unfortunately (or actually pretty damn fortunately) only a part-time raven-man.

If done right though, another humanoid bird champion might work.

Seems like reasonable guesses, hasn't really been a dedicated jungler in roughly a year so I suppose we should be expecting one. But based on Rito's logic lately, it's probably a skin for some current op champ. Maybe fizz is getting a legendary. Don't put it past them...

It's been exactly a year since Kench, but he wasn't even a real support tbh, he saw a lot more play top. The most recent non rework full support was Bard in march of last year. But, then again, the ADC champ pool is still tiny. That said, I can't see a way to relate the teaser to an adc. It seems Sup and Jung are the most likely candidates, because like you said, Kindred was almost a year ago also.

ADC champ pool is not only tiny, it's completely monothematic. There really isn't significant difference between the champs of the ADC marksmen class. There is very little variety and most of them feel like just different version of each other that have their power placed in slightly different aspects of their kit. So far, Graves is the only champion to break the mold of the "traditional marksman". Even jhin isn't really that different, he just has a rudimentary ammo system (also next champ won't be an adc because jhin is rather new).

I saw a theory on youtube that the creature's shriek could possibly be the sound of the new champion hunting it, and not the champion itself. I thought in was an interesting twist.

The idea was that it is a random animal being hunted by the new champion, implying they are assassin like in nature.
