What would you think of this Ryze/Zyra plot?

This is a plot that has been brewing in my mind for a good while. It's aggregated from old lore; the involved are the solitary characters Ryze and Zyra.

The beginning, from previous canon:

Ryze's mentor Lilith (from his old Judgement) imbued him with magic through tattoos inked with a thorn. He later betrayed her and stole the scroll to protect it.

This is the new part:

In desperation Lilith travels to Kumungu, the origin of her magical art. (She tattooed with a thorn, remember?) The twist is, SHE is the sorcerer caught by Zyra, which allowed the ancient plant to take human form!

This story would be the premise for the two character's relationship.

Tell me what you think! Would this be an interesting plot? Would it lend itself well to future stories between the two? What would they do when they met?

This is a good idea, now condense it into 2 sentences so it can fit in with the Shurima lore and you've got something.

I'm not sure what kind of story Ryze and Zyra would have, but this is a very interesting connection that could be made.

Interesting idea with connecting these two independent characters together. It would certainly create a strong dynamic between these mages. Would Zyra remember Ryze or is the woman that Ryze once knew was long gone? Ryze's mission was to keep rampant magic in check, so he would probably would be a fierce rival of Zyra. She would threaten Runeterra's magical balance that he seeks to preserve.

It seems like a cool concept. I was drafting a lore that involved Ryze finding his scroll and unwittingly using it to release Nocturne from the void :)

Overall I think this could be a very interesting development,although I'd say it would kinda "waste" Liliths own character potential(because this way it is like she was first mentioned,then killed off and replaced with Zyra)

However I think it would be such a huge addition to Zyra s character and would be at the same time finally proceed Ryze s story(because lts be honest here,Ryze is one of these champs who just exist,with no connection to anything whatsoever) that I would still love this plot twist and ryze trying to reach lilith inside Zyra would be indeed a very interesting interaction
