The name Illaoi makes me think of Ionia. Of course there's no real indication of where this person could come from but my first guess is Ionia.

A new Rakkor Tribe/Mount Targon champion, perhaps? It's been over three years since the last one. Meddler did say the next champion would be a real figure in Runeterra, in contrast to recent folklore types.

Maybe it will be like Ekko.A few of his champ select quotes were released to the PBE during the 5.9 PBE cycle.Then he was reveal & added to the PBE for the 5.10 PBE cycle.If we think about it that way,then it's possible the new champ is coming to the PBE in the 5.22 PBE cycle,which should be starting next week assuming we're on the usual 2 week cycle. It's also possible Illaoi may have a preview released at the Worlds Semifinals like Ekko.
