Aurelion Sol and Mount Targon Theory

So, it's already been noticed that Aurelion Sol seems very, very powerful in comparison to many of the other champions. He's some sort of space dragon that forges stars as opposed to our last champion, a serial killer who shoots people in an aesthetically pleasing manner and automatically dies if a champion with a dash comes within 1000 units. In the teaser for Mount Targon, there were five spots and only three were filled. It has been suggested that those last two spots will be Sol and Taric.

What if the eventual lore event revolves around a battle at Mount Targon between Aurelion Sol and the various aspects? Taric's rework is nigh and he could potentially end up from Targon, being the aspect of beauty or love or gems or somesuch. He, Pantheon, Diana, and Leona could engage the space dragon in combat, win, and end up casting him down to Valoran in mortal form (a la Soraka). It would resolve the apparently severe power imbalance, bring in Taric, and explain why the Targonian champions needed to become physical embodiments of the aspects.

The power imbalance doesn't need to be resolved, since lore and gameplay are separate.

I really like this idea. The lore team is consistently working towards having cohesion and not having a thread like three, or possibly four, Aspects active at the same time.

It's also a good way to have a cosmic entity on the rift where a squirrel with a blowgun can kill it.

The rift has nothing to do with lore. So "power level" is irrelevant as long as it serves a good story.
