So when are you going to update the desktop icon Riot? We got a HUD updated, we're getting champ reworks and more beautiful art, we got a client visual update, but you still haven't updated the desktop icon. I know you can change the icon on the desktop yourself, but you can't change the icon that shows up on the taskbar and such.
When they decide to update the Player Profile page, champion pages, smooth connectivity with internet and the PVP.net interface, incorporate gameplay options like replay and recording, then we shall see a new icon....otherwise its updated as much as the new retcon replacement lore.
You can use a tool like this http://www.angusj.com/resourcehacker/ to change the icons of exe files I've used it in the past first copy your league exe file to somewhere safe then open the exe file with resource hacker then right click the option that says icon click replace icon select your photo then save as the exe file to a folder then cut it from said folder and move it to your league folder and replace then go through a reboot and it should have changed the exe files icon if anything goes wrong take your backup of the exe file that you made at the start and cut and paste that back into your league folder
Its only been updated for the client, not for the actual game. When you load into a game, the icon is still the old one.
