At the beginning of LoL, Amumu was a human child that got cursed and can't have friends. Then Riot said "Now he is a Yordle that lives in Bandle". And now the new Nasus story says he is a cursed old shurima child emperor. So is he a cursed human? Or a cursed yordle? Or a human that got cursed while ascending and became a yordle? Which means that all the yordles are ascended and can all be considered as semi-gods? EXPLAIN ME RITO*[zombie-brand-mindblown]*
He is currently a human who died as a child, and thus is forever at that height.
He used to be a Yordle child, but there was never really much lore around him anyway so when they made the whole Shurima lore they found a place for him there and changed his species so he fit better in that environment.

I think it's clear the he is definitely not human, as for him being a yordle, maybe? he does have 3 fingers instead of 4, but a lot of champions share this trait like blitz and alistar, they aren't yordles but they aren't human either
Pretty sure he's a cursed Human. The Yordles kind of have a brithplace called Bandle city where as Amumu's is Shurima.
We dont know, same with Rammus. Both are left intentionally vague.
We don't really know if he is a yordle or not. Even his own lore doesn't deliver a clear answer as Amumu himself doesn't know if he is a yordle or not.
There are cerrtain champs and the blue shop keeper who do refer to him as yordle,but then again,they might mistake amumu for a yordle.
