Why wasn't Malphite included in the Targon Lore overthrow?

Riot said they didn't like the "Beings from a mysterious other realm" canon, which is why they moved Taric from that to being from Demacia with his powers from Targon. I feel like Malphite would most likely be able to fit in Targon, so why didn't he? Is this just coming at a different date or what?

(Also, wtf are they gonna do with Morg and Kayle if they have a homeland in Runeterra and are so different?)

Because they made Targon very cosmic focused, and I guess they wanted a very elemental focus for whatever Malphite's new lore will be.

For Morg and Kayle, there are still other realms. Shen's/Ionia's spirit world, the Void, wherever Bard came from(and goes to, he is a dimension hopping... thing?), Lulu's Glade(which I saw a very convincing theory about it being connected to the void), and the celestial spirit plane of Targon.

So they can still come from somewhere else, but it will not be "a mysterious other realm" but rather " another realm". With a name, way they get into Runeterra, etc.

I think it would be cool he became an elemental entity along side Anivia and Brand and they would have their origin or have a history together but are separated in the current timeline.

Anivia and Brand are quite similar IMO especially if you consider Blackfrost Anivia as possible canon. Blackfrost Anivia is what she would be if she was corupted Brand is already corrupted but you can also see that he has some light in him "I will Purify the world with my flame".

Add Malphite with them would be cool because they are all powerful Elemental that can change the world or they want to change it. Malphite want order or solidity, Blackfrost Anivia want the world to be in ice(lissandra), Brand want the world to burn an be renew. They all pretty much have lost hope for the world and want to redeem it in their own ways.

I hope you followed what I was saying I know it's a bit confusing still trying to think how it could work or make better sense.

They probably want Malphite to have his own thing going on. You know, be one of the independent not tied to any particular faction. After all, he is a giant moving mountain. Just because Targon is a mountain doesn't mean Malphite has to be connected to it. I mean there are lots of mountains in Runeterra.
