What if Kassadin is Jaheje from Rek'Sais color story?

I'm not saying it's likely, but that maybe it's possible. We know A. That Kassadin started out as an orphan keeping predators cough Xer'sai cough away from caravans traveling through the great sai. (Just like Jaheje) B. That eventually he became more of a guide and people sought him out. (Just like Jaheje) C. Kassadin isn't his real name, in fact we never see his real name. (What if his real name is Jaheje O.O).

It would also explain how he knows how to prepare himself for the void, having actually seen it once before, in Rek'sais tunnels.

There are more people in Shurima that has the same work of Jaheje.

Admittedly, I was ready to dismiss this as another overzealous "twist for the sake of twist" theory.

But...you make a very good point, and I think the strongest piece of evidence is that Kassadin's name is never mentioned. Only the fact that Kassadin is **not **his real name is.

There's too much focus placed on that in the bio to make me think it's just a random bit of trivia. There's also the fact that nothing from Kassadin's childhood or time before his work as a treasure hunter-sort was mentioned, which is conspicuous, given how much that usually factors into champion bios. Look at Malzahar's.

I'm not sure if it's Jaheje, but I've got a feeling we've seen this character before, in some form, or will in the future. It's too conspicuously open-ended.

I'm going to keep an eye on this one. Good catch.

I was thinking the same thing when I read Kassadin's bio yesterday, and it's a strong possibility since the nexus article mentioned easter eggs that us lore heads might pick up on.

Honestly, he may as well be. Kassadin is a title - we never learn his name. Riot did sweet fuck all in terms of character development so any random Shuriman with the same job could be considered to be Kassadin.
