Because she could seriously use it.
This is what her model looked like before the texture rebalance:

Her current model is pretty outdated and noodle-y.
I just wanna see one of our favorite ninjas shine. :^(
Tesla Effect11 votesAlso dont forget this little f**ker
.
Blue Moon Wolf2 votesTesla... kennen... if we can figure out a way to strap tesla coils to kennen, I think I could think of a cool skin for him .__.

Oh yes, that would be an awesome skin, but then again anything with Tesla is an automatic yes for me. Full Metal Kennen would do.
Insanity Song2 votes975 rp Teslas and green lighting for sheer looks?
NewFoundAbility2 votesHer model is fine, not terrible. But I do think she does need a small VU.
Compared to Taric and Yorick, Akali is fine to me.
Blue Moon Wolf1 votessadly she is in the same boat visually as
. The model isn't great but a texture update was enough to get the job done till they get the emergency cases done like
and
:(
Teslablade2 votesMoreover, her useful green forest camouflage is rendered pointless by the fact that it covers 20% of her body.
coeurloyal1 votesiirc she's on the block for a larger scale update. I'm sure she'll get a visual lift when they do her kit adjustments.
Hexten1 votesAgreed, its cool that Riot was able to fit some visual time for Shen along with his kit adjustments. He looks much better now compared to his old models.
Jungle Lux God1 votesI think whether Akali gets a VU with her update depends on whether or not she is in a big assassin update.
If she does get into a big group update with other assassins, I doubt she would get a VU, while if she gets an update by herself she likely would be at least considered for a VU, and likely would get that VU.
