Regarding Kayle and Morgana
Don't let their personalities fade in order to emphasize duality.
They are two separate characters, with motives beyond just stopping each other. We should see more of their work, not just their conflict with each other. Morgana's frequently mentioned motive is bringing freedom from Kayle's tyranny, establishing some type of democracy but at what cost? We cannot claim that Morgana is absolutely right that Kayle defending their people from dark forces is actually her holding a tyrannical rule. Kayle isn't supposed to be an evil oppressor who's ultimately wrong - that would ruin the fantasy which she originally carried; she's a stern knight, protecting her people from evil - this duty surely wasn't established for no reason.
She genuinely tries to bring enemies back from the dark side, but if she destroys them, it is because they refused to forsake the darkness. The conflict lies in how neither side is willing to make a compromise. They view each other as a threat to their people. Morgana may have started out as someone tolerant, but giving up on trying to get everyone else to be too, she succumbed to the other side of the spectrum.
We need more info on her dark arts to be able to pass judgment on who is right. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle, but neither are wrong.
This is a confident knight, wearing full body armour, bathed in light but still hiding her features because to her, her duty of enacting justice, can often be ugly. She's not just concerned for her own people - she sees that right order is established wherever she is.
