Jikai - The Fallen Dragon

For a while I have loved the idea of Thresh's weapon, which is basically a chain whip with a hook at the end. In all honesty, if I could have a weapon, I'd have to choose between a whip and throwing knives. I noticed that there aren't many (if any) assassins in the game that have a hook of some kind and he/she can pull him/herself toward then enemy. I decided that I'm going to write out my ideas for this new champion and hopefully bring something new to consider. This character is meant to be the father of Shyvana, who now bears the aspect of the dragon within a jewel in his chest. Since I don't have any art for him at the moment I will describe him the best I can. He has a blue-ish skin color with eyes the color of fire, and golden hair. He is tall and strong, but he is thin. In my artwork he would be bare chested with a thick shoulder plate on the right side with the blue and gold hue. He has plated leggings with the same color has his shoulder piece. He wields a whip which is laced with the teeth of the dragons he has killed since he became human. The arm carrying the whip (right arm) is armored by the scales of his previous body. He is barefoot.

Next I will do a write up about the abilities. Damage that I add may not be the best for this character but this is a basic sketch. In case of confusion, Jikai's attacks have the same range as Thresh (maybe a little shorter).

PASSIVE: A King's Rage: Jikai gains Fury for every attack and ability that hits an enemy. Dragon Skin: At full fury Jikai will permanently gain .08 armor and magic resist every 2 seconds. Dragon Teeth: On every basic attack Jakai's whip will damage enemies between Jakai and his victim for 10% of the damage he dealt on the attack.

Q - Dragon Tail: Cooldown: 5 seconds (cooldown is also reduced by movement speed Jikai will whirl his whip close around his body for 20/40/60/80/100 AD(+.5 AD) then lash out in quarter-circle for 30/60/90/120/150 AD(.7/.8/.9/1/1.1 AD), knocking enemies back 2 units. Deals %20 additional damage to monsters (+200 max).

W - Dragon's Gaze: 14/12.75/11.5/10.25/9/7.75 Passive: When Jikai faces enemy champions and they face him, Jikai gains 1% ability damage/s and enemies loose 1% armor/s, stacking 3 times. Active: Jikai flashes his eyes in a direction blinding enemies for .5 seconds in his peripheral vision, dealing 40/50/60/70/80 AP (+.5 AP). This does not blind if the enemy caught in his gaze is unobstructed by map walls or foliage.

E - Dragon Wings: Cooldown 16/14/12/10/8 Jakai latches out with his whip in a line. If Jakai hits a champion or minion, he deals 20/40/60/80/100 AD (+.8 AD) and is pulled towards his target and his launched a quarter of the distance over the player. When Jakai lands Dragon Wings on an enemy the player is slowed 20% - 99% and scales the closer Jakai gets to his target. When Jakai passes over the target, the champion/minion is rooted for 1 second. If Jakai hits a wall Jakai will be pulled towards it, and if he is far away enough from the wall he will sling himself over 1 wall; doing this reduces cooldown by half. Jikai may cast abilities with in the air.

R - Ring of Fire: Cooldown 120/100/80 Passive: When enemies are 50% below health his basic attacks will cause his enemies to burst into flames, dealing 1% health as True damage per 2% remaining health + 20/40/60 AP (+.1/.2/.3 AP) Active: Jikai expends all his rage causing his Dragon Gem to explode on the ground in a circle and continue to spreading a short distance. Enemies inside take reduced damage while at the center of Ring of Fire and take more damage the closer they go to the edge ranging from 50/75/100 true damage (+.05/.1/.15 AD)(+.1/.15/.2 AP) to 100/150/200 (+.1/.2/.3 AD)(+.2/.4/.6 AP). While inside, Jikai gains 10% attack speed.

Lore -

Many years before the first pirates landed upon the sands of Bilgwater, a nest of dragons rested upon the side of a volcano. They were known to be the greatest of all the dragons upon Runeterra. It was a community of both strong and wise dragons known as the Bijara Council. Many men and women would travel from around the world to seek both wisdom and strength from the words of the dragons, and even more feared the great power that they held within claws reach. All the dragons were strong, but the greatest was Jikai. He was the fiercest of all the dragons, and won his position as king through battle. He was also smart. He never ruled in anger or deceit. To many, he was even greater than Azir. Legends rose around him, legends that depicted him as a god who could melt a mountain with the breath of his fire, and stories that famed him to be able to cause a storm from the beating of his wings. Jakai was famed across the world. However, Jakai didn't care if he was known throughout the lands of the world. He had lived for so long, that he didn't care if he lived any longer. The only thing he wanted was someone who could rule with him, but instead of ruling dragons, this person would rule human kind. As a dragon, it is hard to relate to human experiences. He decided to send for all the highborn women in the world. Over the period of a year, over a hundred women came to him and each time Jikai turned them away. He could not find one woman who would try to love him, someone who wouldn't cower at his glare. He had nearly given up when a woman appeared in front of him. She was taller than most women with a head of golden hair. She gazed at him, never tearing her eyes away, even when he stood and stepped towards her. He decided this woman would become his Queen in secret. With a special ceremony, she gave birth to an egg that held Jikai's child. However, the ceremony didn't go unnoticed. This act broke the laws of dragons and therefore the respect the dragons had for Jikai vanished in an instant when they discovered what he desired and they all sought to kill him. Over the next few days, all the dragons fought with Jikai in an order to bring him down, but they never did. after two days of constant fighting he was nearly killed by a smaller dragon when his wife intervened. Her blood spilled over the ground as the dragon ate her and left, vowing ro return one day when he least expected it. Jikai left the Bijara Council, a ruined wreck of stone and gem. He carried the egg across the sea and into the mountains between Demacia and the Fraljord. In his weakened state, he could no longer fly and he struggled to protect her, even hundreds of years later when she finally broke out of her egg. After years of travel and hardship, the last dragon from Bijara attacked him and after an intense battle, the stronger dragon beat the king of dragons. The dragon flew off, leaving Jikai crippled and mangled to die alone. Shyvana had run away at his command, never to return to him. As he felt his life fading from the bite in his neck, he felt a new energy both in his body, and out of his body. He did not care what was happening, or what would happen. He didn't want to die with all his being. He was not the dragon he once was. He only wanted to protect her, his daughter. Greater pain filled his body and he knew it was the end. It felt like animals were picking flesh from his body, scales being ripped away by thieves and teeth plucked out by merchants. Suddenly the pain ended and he felt bare and naked. He felt a breeze upon his body in a way he had never felt it before. "Am I in another life?" he asked himself. He tried to move and he realized that he could. He turned on his face and made to stand, in an instant he saw his claws. They were twenty feet away from his body. He looked at his paws and he gasped loudly. He had human hands, he had... After sitting up he felt around on his body. He felt something hard upon his chest, and he looked. It was a gem, fastened into his flesh He touched it and he heard a roar; his roar. Fury rose in his body and his eyes grew red with anger; his heart beat faster and faster as adrenaline pumped into his veins. He roared, fiercely challenging the skies and all that lived in it.
