Skill-shot Accuracy Checker/Practice tool?
Skill-shot Accuracy Checker/Practice tool? Hello! I have (what I think) is a cool idea for a thing to make. I'm a college kid programmer guy and I'm just getting started with game dev type stuff, and I really want to make this thing I have an idea for, but I just have no clue on where to start. Basically, the idea is for a skill-shot accuracy practice tool. I know THE practice tool already exists, but the goal with the thing I was looking for is something incredibly quick to get started and to just have one gameplay mode specifically for helping players get better at landing skill-shots. Essentially, a player would be able to select a character and load into a little room where moving targets would spawn semi randomly, and the player would be able to just throw q’s out and try to hit the targets, with some kind of stat tracking. I have ideas for how I could KIND of make this in unity or something, but I’m having trouble figuring out how to get the champions into it. I could make an approximate thresh, for example, but it wouldn’t have all the exact timings, which would just make the accuracy checker useless. If there’s anyone who reads this who could possibly help me out, I’d super appreciate it! Or, if some rioter thinks this is just a good idea and y'all could implement it than that would be super cool too. I'm going to post this on the subreddit as well for max visibility, so I'm sorry if someone ends up reading this twice!
That's the basic idea. I have lots of other reasons as to why this would be good, and a few other features that would be nice to have within the tool itself, but this post is already kind of long.
Hope some people out there agree that this would be kind of nice to have, and I look forward to potential discussions about this!
(tl;dr) I played support Sion for months and going back to Thresh was so difficult. I can’t hit a q for my life. I think I have a solution for it but am having trouble getting started. I wanted to make it but would need a lil help, or if Riot wants I'm sure they'd make something better than me. Thanks!
