New Champion Idea: Glitch

We need a champion that knows that they are in a video game. A lot of other games have things like this, and League could use the addition. The closest thing we have is Mordeakaisers quote "You only need to click once, fool!"

Glitches entire idea is based off of randomness and unpredictability. No one owns what Glitch will do next, even the player.

Glitch uses health as a resource.

P- Stolen Idea Glitch starts out with another champions passive. (Passives like Rumbles, and others like that that would be considered useless are excluded) Every time Glitch levels up he has the chance to re-roll his passive for a new one.

Q- Malfunction Glitch targets an area in front of him that zaps with electricity over the course of a few seconds and deals magic damage. This ability slows harder the longer you stay in the electric zone, to the point of having an almost Tahm Kench enemy eating slow if you don't move out of it. The area of affect is small, however.

W- Firewall Glitch sheds a portion of his health to create a wall in front of him that stays until it is re-ctivated. However, when the wall is hit with a projectile, magic damage equal to 45% of the damage that it would've caused Glitch is returned to the attacker. Glitch is slowed when using this ability, and keeping it up slowly drains his health.

E- Critical Selection Glitch cycles through Keystones he doesn't possess whenever he uses his E. It costs a bit of health, but is mainly supposed to be used for situations that require different keystones.

R- Recycled Upon activation, Glitch's ult transforms into another champions let that is damage dealing. (Support lets like Sorakas are not used, but supports still count, like braum.) Activating this ability again uses the ult.

Glitch looks and acts similar to the Pokemon Porygon-Z, as he is always twitching and his limbs are moving and spazzing out. He is rather slow and does not talk often, but when he does it is slightly hard to understand and sounds like static. When he dies his body shatters into code. He also responds to things that you or your allies or enemies do, such as taunting them if they miss skill shots and telling them to hurry up if they say they are coming to assist him. If there were to be a mood for this champion, id say it would be in the form of this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdZ7n2Kz_NM&t=211s

Comment if you have anything to say about this idea. Any type of criticism is welcome. If you have any other ideas for the champion, let me know. Thanks for reading.

Bahaha! That would be a funny champ, but I don't think it would work in League because champs are created to influence the competitive nature of the game. It could definitely work as a featured game where everyone has to play as this champ. Or maybe create a "Arcade" featured game where a summoner spell/dying or something can turn the enemy champ into the glitch.

HOLY I've thought about a champ who could transform into another one and I think with the glitch thing can be perfect...just think that the community is asking something like this for ages...Thumbs up m8!

The rng factors in this champ is wayyyyyy too much for a game like league

Unreliable is the first thing that comes to mind for me, his kit wouldn't always work correctly for what you need, never mind his teammates.

His W feels mildly pointless, It'll absorb most back rank damage but you said he also has a high hp cost and a channel cost. Even if he blocks damage he still looses a fair amount of hp, worst case he uses it in a moment of panic and spends a lot of hp for nothing

I just want to say that I love the main concept of this, the idea of a sentient character that is quite literally a glitch sounds like fun, these are some of my ideas on a couple of ways to change it to where you still have the randomness while giving it some reliability

Passive- While I love the idea of a constantly changing passive, I feel having it based on all of the champions passives is a bit to much, some passive have the whole kit built around them (for example Rumble and Kalista), instead, I feel that he should have a pool of passives, they could be a mix of champions passive, or you could have them all be unique passives that may just add to his randomness (you could get simple ones that increases his Q's Range or makes his allies move faster through it like Orianna's W, or you could get more complex ones that could have him mark enemies and do bonuses to them with his abilities, having a vast range of simplicity and complexity). This way you still have randomness idea and you will possibly want to reroll to get something else, but they are made for Glitch specifically. Basically, you still have the randomness aspect, but you have less weirdness or interactions that make no sense (rumble and kalista).

Q- love this ability, nothing I would change

W- This one is weird, while I love the name and the idea of it, you will really only want it up for a second at most. It takes you out of the fight and you still be taking damage on top of already draining your health. I'd almost say that it would be better similar to anivia's wall with a poppy W on it, where you can place it and take out a part of the game no one can move into it or use a mobility ability to go through it, only option is to flash through it. It could even have the yorick W's bonus effect of your allies walking through it to stop trolling (unless you want that).

E- This one is probably my least favorite part of this kit. It just seems to be something that doesn't very fun to use. I just see it as you will be constantly rerolling it until you get a keystone. Since you already have to be rerolling the passive and the ultimate, I feel that this should be a unique ability on it's own, probably like the W or Q. I don't have any strong idea's on what it could be though. Maybe giving all allies or enemies in a certain area a random buff/debuff. (one press could be him giving all allies 30% attack speed, while another would give all opponents a 20% slow, or maybe make them nearsighted for 0.5 seconds). That's just a really rough basic idea though.

R- This I would make similar to the passive, have a random list of ultimates that are all related to Glitch, one could be he scambles all the abilities of the enemy team (for example, their R could be put to their W key) for a couple of seconds. He could jump into and infect an enemy and turn on friendly fire for them (make the Brand, Vel'koz, and amumu actually think about ulting for a change, hit everyone in an area and cause differences in the screen (make cracks appear in the screen, random 0's and 1's appear all over), this is another where you still have the randomness, but they are in tune with what the character is. It could even be that certain ones work better on certain characters, so he will have to think on who he will be ulting.

I'd say maybe around 15-20 different passives, around the same for the E, and 5-10 different ultimates.

Also I'd really love for them to have special interactions with mordekaiser and azir, something similar to

"oh, have they STILL not fixed all the bugs I gave you?"

Again, just my ideas, take them as you will, one of my main points is that I still want to keep somewhat of the theme of randomness. As you said, once you get a passive and E you want you don't have to reroll them, While this lets you keep the passive that you want, the E and R still keep the randomness. hopefully this can give you some inspiration for something or you could completely ignore it. Thank you for reading and sorry it's so long or if you hate it and it's too far from what you envisioned.
