Feed Back on Champ Concept

Okay, hello everyone.

I wanted to get some feedback on a champion idea that I had before I went all out and made skills and lore etc.

So the main idea of this character would be an augmenter that relies on their teams positioning. Role support but feeds off the damage of their allies. For the ultimate I was thinking of a kind of soul shackle where the support shackles themselves to any allied champion and gives them bonuses for a short period of time, but during that they would not be able to move or cast spells, etc.

Does that sound like a mechanic that would work well in league. I think so but what do you think.

Instead of an augmenter you could make him a parasite that leeches of enemies and allies abilities and for an ultimate he could leech unto an enemy and suppress them while absorbing their HP or attach to an ally giving them bonus movement speed and increased battle stats. This sound like a good idea to me.

I think it needs tweaking, but it has potential. The ultimate you described wouldn't just root your champion, it would force your ally to stay nearby to keep from wasting the buff. That seems like it would restrict allied gameplay too much, especially since all the enemy has to do to negate the ult is run away.

Combining your idea with KingPawnage's, how about an ult that gives nearby allies Life Steal and Spell Vamp?

If you want your champion to work around allied positioning, perhaps include an ability that uses an ally as a sight. For example: ability Q is a skillshot with a set range, and can do damage/debuff on its own. However, you can pass it through an allied champ, and if it does that and hits an enemy champ (make it minion-piercing to keep this from being impossible), your ally steals some of the enemy's move speed (similar to Malphite's Seismic Shard) and gives bonus AD/AP based on your AP.

I don't know what you mean by "augmenter who relies on the other teams position". That's VERY vague and really doesn't give me any idea of lore or skill set. Also that ultimate, while unique, could have the potential to be very unsatisfying for the player. If your team doesn't communicate or has different objectives then they'll never care to stick around for the bonus. Like "Guys I was ulting, stay in the area for the bonus!" "Dude, I'm out of mana" or "We can't win this fight"
