11/19 PBE Update

Riot, what is going on. I love Elise, I love the Bloodmoon skins, but what is this abomination? Elise does not wear skirts, Elise does not play instruments when she backs, Blood is NOT pink.

This is my first post here, I was SO excited when I first heard they were making a new Elise skin and it was going to be part of the Bloodmoon line. Having not gotten Victorious Elise, I was determined to buy the next skin that came out for her. Normally I would try to voice my opinion constructively, but it seems pretty clear your art team needs to start over. Thresh and Kalista look amazing, and Elise should too. Simple as that.

I've now given the skin some time to grow on me, and I want to take back the "start over" statement. The spider-form actually looks good, just needs re-colouring, the human form specifically is what needs to be redone. The skin theme is badass samurai with an equally badass mask, as seen with the armour Kalista and Thresh rock. Elise has none of these qualities, the mask she has isn't even on her face.

To be fair to the skin team, Elise's human form is not meant to be the warrior. She casts spells as a human rather than fighting with physical weaponry; that is left to her spider form. In my opinion the skin reflects the time period and historical themes that accompany Bloodmoon which would be feudal Japan. It is hard to keep in mind that her human form is a caster and should look like one (and does imo) due to her role in the game as an ap bruiser. You would not expect Karma (a similar caster with themes from the period) to be decked out in Japanese samurai armor.
