[champion concept] Yoru, the Chosen of the Eclipse

This is a project that i did 1 year ago, and now i felt like bringing him back so i could hear more feedback .w.

Ps: if anyone got free time and feel like drawing him, that would be really nice ^^ Ps²: Editing is in progress, as there are some engrish stuff i need to get rid off

Yoru ( in japanese = night ) Attributes: Mage/ Secondary: Assassin

Since the ancient times, existed a legend that was only guarded by the elders, and passed down generation by generation. Although no one knew the full version since it was destroyed by the time, it said " Every 2000 cycles, one, and just one boy, who was born on this date, will be covered by the eclipse light, and will become the one who everyone fears.. "

Knowing that the date was near, and fearing that Diana would try to ally with this person, the elders decided to isolate all the boys who were making birthday on that date on a certain part of mount targon.

Between those boys, there was brave and curious boy named Yoru, who was wondering why suddenly the elders wanted them on the mountain. He decided to sneak out of the group, and as soon as he noticed, he was in the front of a temple. Inside, soon he notices that someone already went there - and start recalling of Diana's story, who was considered a heretic for believing that the moon was better than the sun -. Wondering why she thought that, the boy decided to explore a little more. Even though the temple didn't had anything special aside from the moon symbols, he noticed that something wasn't right. At the end, he found a empty chamber, which had nothing but a strange text on the wall, saying: "Every 2000 cycles, one, and just one boy, who was born on this date, will be covered by the eclipse light, and will become the one who everyone fears. He who was chosen by the destiny to become the descendant of the moon and the sun, shall guide the people to a new course, a course where the sun and moon can illuminate the sky in harmony."

As soon as he finished reading, a bright ray fell on Yoru and on the center of the chamber, revealing not only his hidden powers, but a weapon - a scythe, that had the moon and the sun crest on the blade". Now, Knowing about his destiny, Yoru decided to bring peace between those who worship the sun and the moon.

Back, he decided to seek Leona, in hope that she would help him with his plan. Though he already knew that the vast majority of the solari people wouldn't agree with the idea, thus creating a new war, Leona decided to bring the young boy to the league so he could prove to them that he was worthy of changing their ways.

"If the sun and moon are in harmony during an eclipse, it is likely that Solari can live without questioning those who think the moon is better than the sun"

                                                                                                  **Appearance**

Yoru have short, black hair and light blue eyes. His clothes have the colors silver and gold. On his back, there is a moon and a sun's symbol. He also have gloves on - his right glove also have a moon symbol and his left, a sun symbol -. As said in the lore, his weapon is a scythe that have the sun and the moon crest on the blade.

Classic Yoru (Appearance above) Solari Yoru (his apparence before he was covered by the eclipse's light, he has a golden hair, orange eyes and he uses an light golden armor) Kitty Cat Yoru (Reference to a certain anime.. he has blue hair, green eyes, a pair of cat ears and a cat tail, and wears a black armor, his skill particles changes to blue and green on lunari form and yellow and orange on solari form)

                                                                                                      **Skills**

Note: Solari form is supposed to be more of a "meele" assassin while Lunari a "ranged" assassin, even though Yoru Basic atack is MEELE. on a side note, the first skill is the lunari skill and the second skill is the solari skill

..on another side note, he uses Eclipse energy ( a new form of mana ), he starts with 200 and gets +33 every lvl ( +39 at lvl 11 ) , meaning at lvl 18 he have exactly 800 eclipse energy

(recharges 5 eclipse energy every second from lvl's 1-6, 10 from 7-12 and 15 onwards [isnt affected by mana regen itens] )

Passive = Harmonious eclipse: On his Lunari form, Yoru getd 5%/10%/15%/20% cooldown reduction and +10% spell vamp, while his Solari form gets 5%/10%/15%/20% defense/magic resist. [increases at lvl 1/6/11/16]

Q: Lunar Wave/ Glare Sphere:

Lunar Wave: Cooldown: 10/9/8/7/6 seconds. Eclipse energy cost: 50/60/70/75/80

Yoru sends a silver wave towards the enemy, causing 75/115/155/195/235 damage ( +70% ability power) on everything that it goes through ( causing -5% dmg for every champion it hits ) Range: 700

Heat Slash: Cooldown: 10/9/8/7/6 seconds. Eclipse energy cost: 50/60/70/70/80 Yoru empower his next basic atack, dealing twice the normal damage plus 40% of his maximum ap as damage, while applying a burn effect that deals 40/50/60/70/80 (+20% ability power) for 2 seconds. This effect doesnt stacks with his w passive, but it will refresh the duration.

W: Star Shower/ Blinding Light

Star Shower: Cooldown: 16/13/10/10/8 seconds. Eclipse energy cost: 80

Yoru opens a rift in the sky, causing stars to fall after 0.4 seconds, dealing 70/110/150/200/250 (+ 75% ability power ) damage. After that, press the button again to teleport to the center of the rift and change to solari form. Additionally, some stars stay on the ground after changing forms, dealing 10/20/30/35/40 (+20% ability power) magic damage per star and slowing the enemy 20/25/30/40/50% for 1.5 seconds. Additionally, Yoru also gains +30% atk speed for 5 seconds Range: 850.

Blinding Light: Cooldown: 15/13/11/10/8 seconds. eclipse energy cost: 80. Yoru Bathes his scythe on a strange light, increasing his atack speed for 20/30/40/50/60% and making his basic attacks apply a burn effect, dealing 40/50/60/70/80 (+20% ability power) for 2 seconds. Press the button again to change to Lunari form. Additionally, when switching, Yoru gains +20% spell vamp for 5 seconds, but the duration of the light is halfed. Duration of the light: 6 seconds Note: the duration to change forms on both skills lasts 3 seconds

E: Shooting Star/ Fiery Vortex

Shooting Star: Cooldown: 14/13/12/11/10. Eclipse energy cost: 90.

Active: Teleports yourself to a unit, slowing 10%/20%/30%/40%/50% if it's an enemy unit, or increasing your moviment speed by 35% if it's an ally unit. Duration: 1/1.5/2/2.5/2.75 seconds Teleport range: 700

Fiery Vortex: Cooldown: 15/14/13/12/11. Eclipse energy cost: 90

Yoru creates a fire tornado around himself, dealing 70/115/160/205/250 (+70% ability power) to nearby enemies. After 2 seconds, cast again to teleport yourself in a location, ending the tornado and gaining +30% speed for 1.5 seconds. Tornado duration: 2 seconds. Teleport range: 600

R: Comet Explosion/ Flare Tower

Comet Explosion: Range: 20000 Yoru channels his lunari power, reducing enemy vision for 1 second [ chanelling time: 1 second ], releasing a silver comet that travels on a straight line, dealing 300/450/600 ( +90% ability power, dealing -10% damage to every enemy champion it hits )

Flare Tower: Range: 7000 / 550 (circle size) Yoru channels his solari power, revealing all enemy champions on the map for 1 second [ chanelling time: 1 second ], creating a massive heat camp on the selected area and releasing a lava burst from the sky that deals 300/450/550 ( +80% ability power ) dmg to all enemies on the area. After that, lava stays on the area, dealing 10/20/30/40/45 (+20% ability power) and slowing enemy units for 50% while they stay inside the lava area. Area Cooldown reduction for both skills: 120/100/80. Eclipse energy cost: 100

Taunt: Yoru puts your scythe on the ground, and start talking

You? Strong? was that a joke? sigh Another day, Another pray You look like you need to sleep, too bad i will kill you before midnight [lunari form]/midday [solari form] Shiny little star, i wonder who will fall this time..

Joke: Yoru puts his scythe on his back, start looking up and extends your right hand to the sky

You want to sleep? ok.. throws a star Do you call this luck? Luck is a game of possibilities my friend ( creates a shiny sphere on his hand ) [ this is a reference to the lore, since he was the "chosen one") Day or night, THAT is the question

when he is standstill: Like the joke, he extends his both arms and create two spheres, a silver one and a golden one. Occasionally he throws them in the air.

When he dies: On his lunari form, he disappears in the air (from the sides [silver waves]) leaving a moon mark on the floor. On his Solari form, Yoru disappears in the air (from top to bottom [golden waves]) leaving a sun mark on the floor

Easter Egg:

With Diana (taunt):

Diana.. I know your hatred for the solari, but together we can change their ways, now come! ( Diana recieves a buff called Moon Descendant "As if i want to go back to that place.." )

When Yoru and Diana are on the same team, they recieve a "buff" called "two sides of the same coin", both gains +1 ability power.

With Leona (Taunt):

Let's see who is brighter, Leona.. (leona recieves a "buff" called Sun Power " I will show you the real sun!)

When Yoru and Leona are on the same team, they recieve a "buff" called In harmony, both gains +1 hp/+1 mana

With.. Jinx? (Joke):

Oh, You're that interesting fellow.. ( Jinx recieves a "buff" called It's you! " Help me explode more things! )

-Here is something i came up recently, in the past Yoru used to sneak out of his realm and somehow ended up in piltover, where he met jinx one day.. what happend between them, it's up to you to think about it And that's it, i hope you guys like it ^^
