Possible new game mode? Please check it out.

Hi there, I`m Helios.

Relatively new to the game (1 year) and I have the feeling that despite the game being quite diverse and fun... it's missing a bit of thrill. Every single game you go into late game, it's almost always the same strats:

• 4 top, 1 carry bot
• Baron power play
• Backdoors
• Etc

I feel like we need to develop new strategies and a new way of playing League of Legends. This is were the map linked above comes in.

Welcome to the 3 Team map, 4v4v4, "top, mid, bot, jungle". I know, it looks big, it might be clustered, some potato computers might not be able to run it, but hear me out.

The jungle becomes more of a roaming player that helps pick off players from any team so look at this and I personally think this is wild, imagine the ganking and the counter-ganking. The jungles should be smaller to compensate for the lack of a fifth player so that the JG can have more lane presence and therefore make jungling more fun again (That`s for another post).

The 3 other lanes can do pretty much what they always do, though to stop a team from creating an alliance to smash another team, you disable all chat until 1 team has been defeated. Unless some people miraculously snipe each other in game, this should be a pretty cool game mode.

On this map, Top and Bot lane stay relatively the same and so it would force them to minimally roam to mid where all the action is. In the mid lane it'll be a 1v1v1 between 3 mid laners which in essence sounds tough, but amazing to play. The fact that there's a 3rd lane forces the mid to ward behind them when they push a wave or to bail out early because of the high chances of a gank. This is the thrill I was talking about. The fact that you have to absolutely prioritize map awareness on 2 teams creates so much adrenaline it's intoxicating.

Now onto the team fights. Oh the team fights. As easily as one team could get killed during a team fight, the time that the other 2 teams finish fighting, the dead team would already have respawned to join the fray and make a comeback. The fact that you can get KSed from another team forces strategy to secure that kill or to steal one and if both teams wait too long, the prey might escape, the mind games possible in this game mode are unreal.

You might think "Aren't AoE skills going to be broken in team fights?". Well, having seen what Neeko can do and imagining a 8 man Yasuo ult or Amumu root, you might be right, but this forces people to not just force a team fight, in case a the other team comes around and clean up.

Anyways, this was but a concept. I know this has been spoken of before on the forums, but I just wanted to dig it back up because I love it so much.

Hey you've made this far without being bored to death by the idea, thanks! I'm no game developper, but I really think this is a great idea that should be Riot's next project, maybe a reveal for this game mode in S10.
