Where the Taric Rework Rito!?!?

Granted is underplayed, but his abilities seem to not have as much of an impact on the game as other supports do. That is why I ask of you to rework this fabulous champion into a support who is able to be a little more viable whenever mid to late game hits. Now I'm not saying that is garbage as he is. I'm just saying he needs a rework so he still fits in with the overall look of league, because you can't tell me that he looks like he fits when you play him in a game. I personally enjoy playing and I hope that with a rework other people will grow to enjoy and appreciate this underplayed/underrated support.

They said that it would be out either late this year (mid-late December) or early next year (probably around January).

However, Taric still works quite well in his current state. He's good at letting his ADC survive laning phase (providing bonus armor, a heal, and a stun to punish enemy engages) and get scales into a bruiser later in the game. While he's not as good as more specialized supports at protecting ( Braum Janna ), healing ( Soraka ) , or engaging ( Leona ), he's still quite versatile and he can deal a significant amount of damage later in the game will still providing high utility.

Iceborn Gauntlet and his passive. If you autoattack between each of your abilities and have a decent amount of CDR, you can get multiple rotations of your abilties off and benefit from multiple Spellblade and passive procs.

While he isn't great at chasing down champions due to this (since you have to stop to autoattack), he works quite well when people are trying to get through you to hit someone behind you (such as when you are peeling for a carry).

Admittedly, this is more late-game damage than early-game damage. In my experience, you are better off playing Taric with a focus on protecting your carry early and scaling into the late-game as a fighter with high amounts of utility. My typical build for him in Season 5 looked something like this: (Boots are preference), item 3401 item 2045 item 3025 item 3190 item 3143

He is on the rework list, and he really isn't that bad.

Taric is not as good as other supports, for certain reasons, but he is still useful in certain teams.

You don't know how long I've been waiting for this rework.

They are actively working on Poppy, Taric and Shen for reworks, so that's a lot of stuff to go over. They will mostly not be seen till sometime next year.

imo the only thing that needs changed about taric are his ult, maybe change his armor giving/shred ability a little bit and a new VU but thats it, i like him how he is. Many people call him a noob champ, but whats wrong with noob champs, He is a very easy support to take to that role to learn it. Has heal, has an easy cc ability, gives people defensive stats without having to do anything or choose to remove targets defensive stat, and an ult that gives allies more damage. A fairly decent kit for someone who wants to learn support. Same can be said for Garen top, or Amumu Warwick jungle, i think its nice having champions that new players can play, have simple kits so one can learn how the lanes work to then progess onto more mechanically intese champions. or completly master these champions, there is nothing wrong with being a WW main or garen main, im normally scared if someone mains these champs because i know that they know what they are doing/building. When you rework him, please dont change him much. Make sure he is still obviously taric. Dont do a sion, i did love both old and new sion, but new sion is nothing like old sion. dont want this to happen to taric.
