Championship Skins. Take my money, please.

Hi there. I'm Silver 2, my favourite food is Pizza, and my favourite movie of all time would probably have to be the Shawshank Redemption. But enough about me, let's talk about Championship Riven.......Alright, alright. And championship Thresh.

So it is my understanding that these 2 skins were made available in the season 3 world championship (If I am wrong, please correct me). Since then, however, a potential million new players have joined the rift, ah who am I kidding, probably more than a million. Many of these players were not around when a lot of cool skins were made available, although a lot were re released, so that's pretty cool. My biggest regret would probably be not being around for Urfwick. I once had the privilege of losing to an Urfwick. I stomped him in lane, don't get me wrong...Not sure why but he went AP. Anyway, my ADHD and I would like to thank you for being so patient.

I'd really love to see the re-release of the Championship skins, they are quite beautiful. Just beautiful. The artwork, the color way, Riven's sword in the ult, even though some people think it looks like an Obby maul (10 points if you got that), I don't care. The skin is quite frankly amazing. Easily the best skin released in League of legends. And yet, because I started after the season 3 world championships, RIGHT AFTER, this skin has eluded me, like Zed eludes death through his shadow pool. And...I guess Championship thresh is, admittedly, pretty cool too. I personally don't support much but when I do, hands down thresh every time. In my opinion, Leona is too strong, too easy, and breaks the lane. And quite possibly the whole game. But Thresh is fun, very fun, and is an extremely rewarding support (Flash hook, flay, death? Come on).

Can you see where I'm going with this? If you can't, you'd better buy some wards.

I would love to see these skins re released, simply because who knows how many new players have joined the rift? Seriously, I bet even riot wouldn't be able to estimate correctly. These skins are, again, an amazing display of artwork, and look beautiful in game. I'm not sure if Riot is legally bound not to re release these skins (as with the Pax skins) but I'm almost positive that if the original harrowing skins, christmas skins, and soccer skins were re released, then the Championship skins can be re released as well.

I've heard of some talk about it, but it was fuzzy. Riot said that they "may" re release them, which if it was true, then I would step on a thousand Teemo shrooms to get my hands on Championship Riven. If the original owners get upset, then I could see why. If they'd have to make it 2000 RP, please, my wallet is waiting to be molested. If that is the price for fair trade, then so be it. Give the original skin owners borders and all that nonsense, but please, don't punish the rest of us because we weren't playing the game at the time.

Just some food for thought. If another summoner should happen to come across this post, let me know what you think. Should the championship skins stay out of reach? or would you, like myself, take an Udyr punch to the groin to get your hands on them.
