Sludge: The Caustic Trailblazer
Sludge is a giant, fungus snail.
**Short Form Description**
P - Slime Trail - It leaves behind a sticky, slime trail to slow the enemy. Q - Splurge - It spits goo to deal ranged, magic damage. W - Saturate - It uses AOE magic to transform targeted slime trails into caustic, bubbling tar damage. **E - Mind Warp **- It targets a single enemy and temporarily reverses that player's game controls. Up is now down. Left is now right. =D R - Gastropod - It uses its shell to become temporarily invulnerable/indestructible.
**Long Form Description**
P - Slime Trail - Sludge leaves a 1-inch wide slime trail behind it as it moves. This ability never stops throughout gameplay. This trail lasts 20 secs at lvl 1 and increases by 2 secs every level thereafter. Allies that traverse onto this trail gain 5% movement speed for every second they stay on the trail; up to 30% max. Enemies that traverse onto this trail lose 5% movement speed for every second they stay on the trail; up to 30% max. Downside: Sludge is incredibly slow. It needs to retreat on its previous slime trails to move at a normal speed to escape attacks.
Q - Splurge - Sludge ejects an enormous glob of slime 1-6 inches away. Enemies hit by Splurge are stunned for 0.5 secs. Targeted area becomes a 3-inch radius slime pool; same effects as slime trail. Splurge deals 80/120/160/200/240 dmg. CD is reduced by 10/20/30/40/50% if on a slime trail for 3 secs while out of combat.
W - Saturate - Sludge casts an 8-inch radius spell from its location. All slime trails (within this AOE) increase from being 1-inch wide to 2-inches wide. The slime trails bubble! While cast, the trail's duration lasts 30/35/40/45/50% longer, all movement effects are multiplied by 2, and any enemy traversing on these trails will receive 35/65/95/125/155 magic damage for every sec they spend on it.
E - Mind Warp - When Sludge casts Mind Warp at target player, that player's movement and directed abilities are executed in the opposite direction intended (by that targeted player). For example, enemies must fire spells "away from" you in order to aim them "at" you. Also, a targeted player of Mind Warp must also run "towards" you in order to run "away from" you, or vice versa. Mind Warp reverses the in-game controls of that targeted player. This creates in-game confusion for the enemy targeted, because they have to think in reverse to get what they want accomplished. Very frustrating! Ability lasts 4/5/6/7/8 secs.
R - Gastropod - Sludge retreats into its shell where it is invulnerable to all damage for 2/4/6 secs. Sludge is indestructible when in its shell, but cannot move during this ability. Spikes explode out of shell when this ability times out dealing 150/250/350 damage. When Sludge recovers, it becomes super vulnerable immediately after, because its shell remains fixated at the spot where the ability was cast for 20 long secs. Sludge (without its shell) suffers a zero armor and zero magic resistance penalty during that time. After 20 secs the shell reappears on Sludge's back no matters where it is. If Sludge happens to be at his shell, as this effect expires, it receives a permanent 1/2/4% armor bonus and 1/2/4% magic resistance bonus.
