So this Champion concept is for a Zaun Professor who is commonly seen in lore. It is done as though it were a script for a Champion Spotlight, minus the gameplay portion. No available photos, but picture a robotic Nigel Thornberry type deal.

[Intro Screen] Welcome to the League of Legends Champion Spotlight, featuring Stanwick, the Techmaturgian.

[Play Style and Skins]

Stanwick is a close range support focusing on healing and shielding allies rather than disturbing enemy movement or farm, however if there are no allied champions nearby, Stanwick can also easily hold his own as a solo laner.

[Abilities] Stanwick’s passive is Nano-Tech which grants nearby allied minions additional attack damage and armor which can be extremely useful for solo lane pushing. Also, Stanwick’s basic attacks apply a 3% slow to enemy units. Sorry Blitzcrank.

Stanwick is able to heal himself and allies using Circuiteer. This ability heals Stanwick and the target for a percentage of missing health, but if either of them have full health they will be granted a shield based on Stanwick’s maximum mana which can be useful for a temporary buff before going into team fights or when pushing a lane alone.

Stanwick is also able to shield an allied champion using Techmaturgical Life-Preservation Force. When activated, Stanwick will tether to the targeted ally Champion granting them a shield an increasing their movement speed for a short amount of time. During this effect Stanwick will not be able to move, but enemy Champions who attack Stanwick will be stunned for two-and-a-half seconds.

Utility Rocket Fist is Stanwick’s only damaging ability. When activated Stanwick will fire a jet-propelled fist in an arc in front of him doing some damage and slowing all struck enemies. Stanwick is able to re-trigger this ability if he hits more than one enemy Champion.

Stanwick’s Ultimate is TECHMATURGY! Stanwick will buff an allied champion granting them a boost of movement speed, magic resist, and armor for 7 seconds. If the ally is slain, they will be revived with 1 hit point and a shield equal to fifty percent of their maximum health. Also, if an ally is slain and revived, the cool down of this ability is drastically reduced.

[Gameplay] . . .

[Building Stanwick] When building Stanwick, remember that he is a support, and as such will require items that are deemed necessary for the role such as a Sightstone, and though he doesn’t look it, Stanwick is quite tanky so starting with relic shield is highly recommended. Building health and mana will increase the effects of Circuiteer and building ability power will improve Utility Rocket Fist and the techmaturgical shield thingy.

For runes, try Armor Marks and Seals, Mana Glyphs, and [Percent] Health Quintessences.

For Masteries, do 0/9/21 with Health and Armor in Defense, plus Mana and Gold generation in Utility. And don’t forget to biscuiteer.

Bring Exhaust and Flash for Summoner Spells allowing you to slow enemies for easy chases, and flash for quick escapes.

  1. Passive doesn't fit a support, which usually don't want to push.
  2. Too similar kit to other supports (Taric-like heal on Q, Karma-like W and E (from Karma's E and Q respectively), Zilean-like ult).
  3. I think his W is way too powerful (2,5s CC on top of shield and movement speed boost?).

Also, it's good for the game that there are some (very few in case of League) characters that have their roles but aren't playable. Shows us that there is a created world outside of the actual League (which doesn't exist anymore) and champions.

There's many reasons on why RIOT haven't done anything for this dude, so why even bother starting it? I'm not saying that you ideas was lame or anything, but this whole discussion is like putting our used underwear on our dinner table(such an anomaly IMO). You just need to put your ideas somewhere else, don't worry dude with or without your ideas Stanwick will arise whatsoever.
