|| GAREN - THE DEMACIAN TITAN ||

PASSIVE | HEIR TO THE THRONE Garen permanently gains bonus combat effects at certain level thresholds.

  • DEMACIAN BLOOD [LEVEL 1]
 Whenever Garen kills an enemy unit or damages an Enemy Champion with a basic attack or ability, he gains a stack of Demacian Blood for 5 seconds, stacking up to 8 times. For each stack of Demacian Blood, Garen gains Bonus HP Regeneration equal to .25% of his Missing HP per second. This effect is doubled below 40% Health and tripled below 20% Health.

  • DEMACIAN STEEL [LEVEL 6] 
 Garen’s damaging abilities can critically strike to the same extent as his basic attacks.

  • DEMACIAN SAVAGERY [LEVEL 11] 
 After landing a Killing Blow or three consecutive Critical Strikes on an Enemy Champion, Garen is briefly hasted and gains Demacian Savagery for 5 seconds. Demacian Savagery grants Garen 80 (+.2% Total AD) Bonus AD and 10% Bonus Critical Strike damage against targets below 30% health. _Demacian Savagery cannot be triggered again on the same target for 15 seconds after it expires. _

  • DEMACIAN BLOODBATH [LEVEL 16]
 Landing a killing blow with Final Judgment immediately resets the cooldown.

Q | CRUSADER STRIKE / RECKONING — 3.5S COOLDOWN

  • CRUSADER STRIKE [AVENGER]
 Garen swings his Broadsword toward target enemy unit, dealing physical damage (180% of Total AD) to all enemies in a line and applying Mark of the Crusader to all Enemy Champions struck for 6 seconds, stacking up to 10 times per target (basic attacks and other abilities refresh existing stacks). Landing Crusader Strike on any Enemy Champion affected by Mark of the Crusader heals Garen for .25% of his Missing HP per stack (Max 5% of Garen’s Missing HP per Enemy Champion struck). Crusader Strike operates as an auto-attack reset and triggers on-hit effects on all enemies struck.

  • RECKONING [ROYAL GUARD] 
 Garen smashes the ground with his shield, dealing physical damage (30 / 45 / 60 / 75 / 90 +12% of Bonus Armor) to nearby surrounding enemy units and applying Seal of the King to all Enemy Champions struck for 4 seconds, stacking up to 3 times per target (basic attacks and other abilities refresh existing stacks). If Reckoning strikes a unit affected by Seal of the King, it deals bonus Physical Damage over two seconds equal to 2% of Garen’s Max HP per stack (max 6% of Garen’s Max HP). Reckoning operates as an auto-attack reset and triggers on-hit effects on all enemies struck.

W | BLOOD & JUSTICE — 1.5S COOLDOWN

PASSIVE: Garen heals for 10% (+0.3% Bonus AD) of all damage he deals and gains bonus attack damage equal to 6% (+0.1% Bonus HP) of his missing health.

ACTIVE: Toggle to change Garen’s on-hit effects and basic abilities.

  • AVENGER
 Garen draws his Broadsword, granting him 15% Bonus AD and 15% Bonus Critical Strike Damage, reducing the effectiveness of slowing effects by 25%, and granting him unique abilities.
 Every third basic attack:
 (1) Deals Bonus Physical Damage (10 per level + 2/4/6/8/10% of the Target’s Maximum Health);
 (2) Applies Mark of the Crusader; and
 (3) Heals Garen for 5% of his Missing Health.

  • ROYAL GUARD
 Garen draws his shield and longsword, granting him 15% Bonus Armor and Magic Resist, reducing the duration of hard crowd control effects by 25%, and granting him unique abilities. Every third basic attack:
 (1) Deals Bonus Physical Damage (8 per level 2/4/6/8/10% of the Target’s Current Health); 
 (2) Knocks the target back a short distance; and
 (3) Grants Garen a shield for 3% of his Max HP, lasting for three seconds.

E | CONVICTION / RANK BREAKER — 4.5S COOLDOWN

  • CONVICTION [AVENGER]
 Garen’s next basic attack deals Bonus Physical Damage (2/4/6/8/10% of Total AD) and heals Garen for 7% of the damage dealt. After casting Conviction twice, Garen gains DIRECTED VERDICT the next time it becomes available to cast. DIRECTED VERDICT: Garen gains 25% Bonus Movement Speed and can leap to a target nearby Enemy Champion for two seconds. While Directed Verdict is active, Conviction deals additional Physical Damage (3/6/9/12/15% of the Target’s Missing HP) and heals Garen for an additional 10% of the damage dealt. Conviction operates as an auto-attack reset and triggers on-hit effects.

  • RANK BREAKER [ROYAL GUARD]
 FIRST CAST: Garen slashes his sword in a half-circle in the target direction, dealing physical damage (30/60/90/12/150 + 2/4/6/8/10% of Bonus AD) and reducing the armor of all enemies struck by 20% for 3 seconds.
 SECOND CAST: Garen smashes the ground with his shield, creating a shockwave that radiates outward in a circle around him. Enemies struck by the shockwave take Physical Damage equal to 12% their Current Health and are knocked back a short distance.

R | FINAL JUDGMENT — 120S COOLDOWN

  • FINAL JUDGMENT
 Garen leaps into the air toward Target Enemy Champion and then swings his weapon downward onto the target, dealing heavy physical damage (300% of Bonus Attack Damage + 25% of the Target’s Missing Health).

also, a lot of those ability names are weird. garen is neither a savage, nor a crusader. hes patriotic but not a fanatic.

some of the percentages need tweaking, but this is a fantastic concept overall. it would definitely bring Garen into relevance without completely trashing his current kit.

I see a bunch of issues overall, but there are some worthy ideas, mostly the passive's leveling up his combat ability and his W stance swapping, plus some usage of the shield is also nice
