seems interesting, lets see:
Example: Mass Misdirection(Passive): Your allies are cloaked in a mist of illusion, making them appear as a different champion. (randomly picked)
All their icons, items and appearance are randomized until they receive damage or get within smite range of the target then they are revealed.
So we already know that if a champion goes invisible, your allies can still see them, but your enemies cannot.
The concept works the same, but in this case instead of invisibility, they are given a different skin/champion.
Your enemy's will of course know this. but I guess the problem would be if this champion is picked, all 130+ champions skin, dances and VO would have to be added into the game.
A replacement would just be they all become one champion, a copy/mirror of your Illusination,
another problem is that if it was like twisted fates ult, where for 20 seconds, all your allied champions appear to be you, the enemy can still determine, "oh ammumu was top just now or Jynx was farming bot still" etc
So i wouldn't make it an ultimate, it would be a nice disguise, like pretend to be Krugs or Gromp, or an Enemy champion things like that, this that would already be loaded in teh game.
maybe the ult would just be a mix of le;blance where they spawn 6 illusions, they dont deal damage, but 1/6 is the real champion. and the kit can synergies, by being able to control or blink or like zed has them to explode or stuff. so the illsuions are like a resource they champion uses to attack or defend.
come up with something, i think this idea has potential, but the change/swap into other champions needs to be worked around imo.
