Right now, Jax has one of the worst models in LOL. His abilities logo are outdated. I mean come on, this man has a fishing stick for his passive. none of his skins has particle effect except for one. His gameplay does not need a rework. but for the love of god plz VU this amazing champ that you guys created. I would love to spend my life saving on his skins but all of them are really bad. his splash art is catfishing because he looks like a carpet with leg than an actual grandmaster of arms. he is my main and I wish nothing but the best for him. so plz roit..........

Jax has one of the most stale, one sided, predictable playstyles in the game. For someone who is a "Grandmaster of arms" he feels more like an eggplant helicopter. I know what Jax is going to do as soon as i see him. He will activate his Counter Strike (helicopter), jump on me, stun me, and proceed to maul me without me having a chance to fight back or defend, because i am stunned for 2 seconds. Alot of people complain Pantheon's design is horrible, but this is just as toxic and outdated.

And let's not get started on his ultimate, which basically gives him free Armor and MR for building AD and AP. This is probably one of the most lazy and unimaginative ultimate designs in the game.

RIot should definitely give Jax a Fiora level of rework. Before she was just another Xin Zhao copy. Now she is a completely unique champion with a very demanding skill level. With defined strenghts and weakneses.

Also, i would suggest RIot doing a bit of a clean up on Jax's scalings. For what appears to be an AD autoattack reliant champion he has too much unnecessary AP scalings that just don't fit in with this character.

Outdated as Pantheon, maybe, but not as toxic. Jax stun has ways to play around it.

I still agree on Jax needing gameplay update, though.

Fiora is not k ._.

You can be the ever living hell outa her in lane and then 6 minutes of farming later and she spanks your ass 1v1 and proceeds to heal to full in a matter of seconds and take a tower at the same time.

Her ulti damn near makes it impossible to beat her 1v1 or run away.

Jax does at least need to actually land his stun to have any kill potential for a long time in comparison.

While i agree jax is outdated he just needs a mini rework to be fine tbh.

He has ap scalings because he's a hybrid champion, and fiora is your best example? that piece of shit?

Is she unique? yeah sure she is. Does she have a demanding skill level? skillcap yeah sure, skill floor tho. Defined strenths and weaknesses? hell no.

If you're going to try to say that Jax doesn't have counterplay, at least use the correct numbers. Jax's stun lasts for ONE second, not 2. The dodge effect lasts for 2 seconds. You DO have counterplay against him, and most Jax players are NOT going to jump in with their counterstrike activated unless they want to die. It's his only defensive mechanism. If he jumps into a teamfight, gets cc'ed, he can never activate his ultimate and he dies.

I'm not defending Jax at all, I am a Jax main and I understand he needs a rework, but to say he's on the same level as pantheon is ridiculous, or he would have an extremely high winrate in top lane like pantheon does, which he doesn't. Jax has counterplay, but like you said, his playstyle is predictible. He needs a rework to make him feel a lot more like a grandmaster at arms. They need to change the way that hybrid damage dealers work, or get rid of the concept entirely.

Jax can have a VGU sure but Fiora is pure cancer. She needs a little practice yes but she is amongst the "unskilled" champions who deals bs damage even when behind. Old Fiora was cancer because of her old R, new Fiora with the unfair true damage is worse, not even armor can stop her now.

The dude is another stat check simulator champ so his game play is getting changed along with visuals whenever it is his turn Also Riot doesn't really like doing purely Visual Updates nowadays

I'm not talking about rammus, I meant WW/Galio. Considering he got his minirework the best you can hope for is a VU. Which honestly is all he needs.

I know, just saying that he was working on some concepts for Rammus. While doing the current VGUs, they are always investigating other champions to work on next, trying to find concepts they like for them.

They don't do visual updates solely anymore and he is still in the tier 1 list of VGUs, as far as I know. Keep in mind, Swain got a mini rework some time ago as well and he is still up next for a VGU. These changes are just meant as a bridge until the champion gets the complete treatment he needs.

And the changes he got were really just band aid fixes. There is alot of potential for his gameplay that isn't fulfilled.
