Mysterious Teaser

The second teaser image has just been revealed on the website and I found some interesting pieces in the lore that reveal information on what is happening. Deadeye or as we now know him/her as Jhin is killing 4 champions. Zed, Sona, Garen, and Vi. The only question is why and how.

Zed Zed The first teaser was posted on December 27 and features Zed on the floor with rose petals coming out of his face. Why? What does this mean? If you look in Zed's lore, you find that Zed is hungry for power. That is his goal and that is what drives him to learn the Forbidden Arts. Now that doesn't mean much but what if a part of Zed wishes to be free? What if Zed isn't as malicious as we are lead to believe?

Sona Sona Secondly, we have Sona. This champions desires are kind of obvious. She longs to speak. If you have been living under a rock you might not know that Sona is mute. The voice you hear in game is just her thoughts. So it seems fitting to have such a desire. I certainly would want that if I were Sona. The only thing is, would that hinder the magic of the etwhal?

Garen Garen Then there is Garen. His could go either way. In the lore we are told that Garen wishes to be an example to his people. But we all know that can't be the end of the story. He's hiding something big. Take a deeper look and you can tell Garen longs to end the war. His animated icon shows shattered glass and to be honest it makes sense. Someone like Garen must doubt himself sometimes. He might feel helpless and as if there is no hope as to the end of the struggle against Noxus.

Vi Vi Vi is peculiar. We don't get much of her background in the lore but Riot has given us hints to her roots being in Zaun. Ekko was in a gang with her and Jinx until Vi wanted to leave and Jinx went crazy. It makes sense that Vi might want to go back to her old life but that seems to easy. The smoke in her icon can symbolize fire and fire is attributed with destruction. So we can assume it might be her violence. Vi might actually hate being a vicious person and might rather be a helping hand in Piltover and Zaun. Sure it's out there but not crazy. Though would she actually hate being violent since that's a strong part of her character?

So what do these four story connection mean? They all are personal struggles. Deadeye might not be a vicious killer. Maybe he/she wants to restore Zed's mind, Sona's voice, Garen's trust, and Vi's dream. He or she could be just placing these people to rest and sending them to a better world (possibly heaven) where they can do just what they wanted. This new character could be like Lucian but not purging the undead. He/she might be trying to fulfill the dreams of people but believe dying is the first step to a new life. After they die he might resurrect them as a new being, able to fulfill their dream. After all, all their lives have been messed up so much this Jhin could pity them and want to be their Savior.

This is just a theory but consider that this new champion could be just a hero. One that gives the broken a new beginning. Tell me what you think below.

Vi, Jinx and Ekko weren't in the same gang if i remember correctly. They just knew each other and were friends.

I can see it. They can even come out wit a skin line for it that has the four of them in a rebirthed form . . . . or w/e.
