So I'm coming back with another champion idea after my lackluster Malchoin concept from the previous boards (which don't even exist anymore, lol XD). After seeing the current direction for champions, I decided to try again with a new idea. So here's my ice for a new Freljord champion. Lemme know what you guys think!

KORAD, THE BRUTAL BLADES

Lore: When I found him, he was a whimpering idiot.

Long before I knew of this nonsensical faction war, the various Barbarian tribes lived isolated lives, and often butted heads. The weaker tribes wuld be absorbed by the stronger ones, whenever they saw fit to conquer more territory.

That's how I met him.

We had just finished scouting out a village. They refused an offer to join Sejuani and the Winter's Claw. Needless to say, it cost them. The only one left alive, was a young man. Called himself Korad.

He wanted us tot ake him in, train him... and I accepted only because he wouldn't shut up.

Training him was a pain, at first. He always complained, and was a weakling. He couldn't even lift a sword! 'It's too hard! I can't do it!' He'd whine constantly. But then I think he finally got it. A year or two later, and he was able to even fight me to a standstill! I started to look at him like a son.

When me and Ashe met, he was hesitant, but Ibeat some sense into him. After the union, I talked Ashe into making him the leader of our army... I'm glad she accepted the offer.

Skills:

  • Thrill of Combat (Passive): Korad gains 3% (lvl 1-6)/4% (lvl7-12)/5% (lvl 13-18) Attack Speed for five seconds every time he lands an attack on an enemy champion, stacking up to five times, and re-applying with each successful attack.

  • Rush Recklessly (Q): Korad runs a short distance in the direction of the mouse cursor, dealing 90/120/150/170/200 (+0.7 bonus AD) damage to enemies in front of him when he reaches his target. Enemies within 50 units of the zone take half damage. (Max 100/105/110/115/120 damage to monsters). (20/18/16/14/12 Second Cooldown | 22/24/26/28/30 Mana)

  • Spilling Blood (W): Passive: Korad gains 10% lifesteal Active: Korad trades in his lifesteal for a 10% Attack Damage boost, and his attacks apply a Mark of Barbarism. When an opponent gets three marks on them, they take damage equal to 2/4/6/8/10% of their Maximum Health, and are slowed by 5/10/15/20/25% for three seconds. (40/35/30/25/20 Second Cooldown | 20/25/30/35/40 Mana)

  • Bitter Cuts (E): Korad slashes twice in rapid succession, dealing 100/105/110/115/120 (+0.6 Total AD) in a cone in front of him and stunning enemies for 1 second. (20 Second Cooldown | 20/25/30/35/40 Mana)

  • Barbaric Fury (R): Korad goes berserk, increasing his Attack Damage, Attack Speed, and Life Steal by 20/35/50% for ten seconds, but he loses the same amount of Armor and Magic Resist. After Barbaric Fury ends, Korad's Armor and Magic Resist stay at their lowered amounts for three seconds. (100/90/80 Second Cooldown | 100/110/120 Mana)

Build Path: Korad plays like an assassin, and as such, will buy a lot of damage, although he also benefits well from Attack Speed items. Barbaric Wounds will cripple his defenses, but that's not to say you shouldn't build them. Recommended items would be:

Starting: item 1055 item 2003

Essential: item 3006 item 3087 item 3153

Offensive: item 3031 item 3172 item 3035 item 3071

Defensive: item 3139 item 3026 item 3143 item 3102

Too much damage early game, scale it down a bit.
