The new Totemic and Charred Maokai models SUCK!

I'm a proud owner of the Totemic Maokai skin, pretty much the best skin in the game to my likes.

I recently saw some of the new models, and I'm highly disappointed about these 2:

Specially about the Totemic one, which I own and is my favourite all time.

What happened with the godly combination of dark colours? The majestic face? His arm? And the design? Now it looks way more like a Polynesian Tiki rather than something Totemic.

Bring back my Totemic Maokai! I never would've bought the skin if I knew this was gonna happen.

The updated Totemic Maokai looks like a baboon.

Im neutral about totemic (the model is better but the face is worse).

Charred, though... looks AWFUL. Doesn't liik like burning coals.

Riot is SO AFRAID of using blacks (even within the own colour spectrum they put to champions) to the point Charred Maokai looks like a bland RED recolour, instead of BURNING wood (which needs coal black, ashe grey and fire red)

and speaking of recolour... the original Charred had a new model, but nthe new one is EXACTLY THE SAME? (aside from the lantern) PLEASE put some cracks or bruning branches (or maybe even fire particles!) on it.

totemic and Christmas had new model (christmas can use some light on the star), why charred is the same model as the default?

They really need to be offering full refunds on these skins that they make such huge changes with. It's a completely different skin. I didn't buy Totemic for the "totemic theme", I bought it because it looked awesome.

Can we please get this upvoted and raise awareness. The totemic maokai skin was blackish and badass. Now he looks like a horrid tiki something instead of the dark looking totem we purchased the skin for.

I feel like the new model is good but like someone before me said the face is kinda dumb. Looks like it should be renamed to tiki Maokai if they're gonna keep it like this; it's a little offensive considering I live in a place where totem poles are part of the culture. I also feel like the color pallete needs to be changed to resemble the old one more but that's just my two cents.

I personally like the new Totemic Maokai. I think it is a very well done model, ESPECIALLY in contrast to the older model. I think they did a nice job with the totemic.

Charred looks like malphite. It was my favourite malphite skin so I'm pretty upset about it.

I love the way Totemic Maokai looks. Cuz you know... now he actually looks Totemic. Totem pole. Etc. Duh.

Why is charred now purple? Did he catch Sion disease where grey becomes lavender? Hopefully Riot will cure Mao like they did Sion.

I think Riot is lowering the details and the number of polygons so that people with a toaster pc can play with max settings on. But how can they call it max settings anymore if they lower the quality to the point that it taking away from the cool looking skins that Riot has made for us in the past. The Old Charred Maokai model looked like a tree on fire, the New Charred Maokai model if I'm not mistaken looks more like a turd (no pun intended). We love you Riot and I know you can make the changes needed to fix it, like you did for the VU of Warmonger Sion skin. Best of luck!!! Maokai + item 3068 =???

Totemic looks like its the tiki mask from Scooby-Doo. they destroyed him now he looks like he belongs in skylanders.... item 3070

I like the new Totemic, the old one to me looked nothing like the splash and the new one looks pretty dang wicked looking with the face.

I get that they're trying to make him resemble the art style of the trees on the map, but it's honestly difficult to tell if he's made of wood or stone.

Pretty sure they are still works in progress as that's how most of these model updates have been when they first hit the PBE. Personally though, I like the direction they are going with them. His update definitely brings out the quality, texture and design of the skins. Love the look on Totemic how it's a mask-like shape that come up and extends out from the top. Makes me actually want to get the skins now. Charred is alright, could use to be a bit darker maybe.

Yes please what's happens with new skin totemic Maokai: he is horrible... and RIOT dont changes the picture at shop. I buy a dark totemic maokai and when the game begins i play with a horrible hawaian tree whith a big head.. a fat horrible hawaian colors like carnaval. You abuse, let the picture of an amazing skin and sell a horrible ... i want you refund my points get serious plz

This has been the way since Skarner VU I think, they reduce the amount of details and turn the model plastic/clayey while using brighter colors.

Totemic Maokai looks awesome lol wtf...the only thing I could say that's bad about it is the little bird looking thing which has nothing to do with anything "totemic", so I have to disagree with you on that one, but the Charred Maokai on the other hand looks really bad.

Has Riot even released the particle effects for the Charred skin yet? Seriously just wait and take a look. It will be all fire effects to his new particles.
