Gorlag: The Unbreakable Orc

Gorlag: The Unbreakable Orc Gorlag descends from an unbroken line of chieftains. Powerful, tall, and mighty, he rose to power just as his fathers and forefathers. Gorlag was a rare breed of Orc. One that possesses a level head and a thoughtful mind. Let this not fool you however as his pure strength, cunning speed, and unstoppable endurance are unmatched by any foe. He stops at nothing to protect his people, and the embrace of death does not bother him. At one point his men were surrounded in an ambush and he ordered them to flee while he stayed to cover their escape. 100 men stood before him, and after mere minutes, none were left. He walked off that battlefield bloody and scarred, but victorious. "It's all about the weapon you bring to a fight, every situation requires a specific tool of war"- Gorlag Passive Legendary Strength: Gorlag waits for a perfectly timed powerful attack that causes a shockwave to follow its wake. Every 10 seconds Gorlag consumes 5-15% of his max HP to strike with a longer ranged, AOE attack that slows himself 10%. If an enemy champion is struck, half of the cost is refunded. Tool of War: Gorlag has an irremovable item that he can upgrade into one of three weapons. Warhammer: Ignores 10% of enemies armor, every 5th auto attack is devastating in force and stuns the enemy (cannot occur on same champion within 20 seconds) Crescent Axe: Longer ranged than the Warhammer, causes deep wounds which bleed over time. Chain Mace: Longest range (half of ranged champ) upgrade, slows attack speed of enemy 10%. Q- Leaping Might Gorlag leaps into the air a short distance in any direction. Spinning like a windmill he summons great energy into a strike that deals AOE damage in a cone in front of him (further targets take less damage). [Leap distance forward spinning strike, damage in cone happens from landing point forward] W- Juggernaut Gains bonus move speed from health items.

REVISED W- Juggernaut Each consecutive auto attack or ability cast by the enemy deals reduced damage, up to 15% reduced damage. Upon achieving max stacks (3-5 stacks), 10% of Gorlags max health is reflected as damage upon the enemy champion. Cannot occur on the same champion twice in 15 seconds.

E- Grounding Spike Gorlag pins the enemies foot to the ground by piercing it with a spike slowing the enemy (Very minor slow). If Leaping might is landed after, the target will be rooted for a longer duration instead. R- Crushing Power Gorlag throws his weapon (line skillshot) in a direction briefly stunning enemies it contacts. If only one enemy is hit he dives behind them and embraces them in a bear hug that crushes the enemy. If more than one enemy is hit, only the stun applies to all but the bear hug is not engaged. This makes you choose for a one target increase damage and stun ratio, or more targets, shorter stun, less damage.

i like the E-Q interaction. I hate the W not gonna upvote or downvote because i'm kinda meh about the concept in general

Thanks for the opinion! I greatly appreciate it. Since the W has caught some flak (rightfully so), I'm going to put a revised W in and see which is favored.

W is lame, need to re invent. The passive "Tool of War" is genius. The only issue is whether or not you will allow people to change the item when they back or not.

Thanks for the thoughts! I wasn't sure on the W either but I liked what Char97 pointed out. Glad you liked the tool of war, I wanted that adaptive play style to shine through.

I do agree with Schaymus, the passive is genius. The original W was a bit rough but the revised one is very cool. New inventive play style with different exciting mechanics. Well done, upvote from me

A slight rework on the W and R:

REVISED W- Blood Howl Gorlag gains increased attack damage, armor, and magic resist for 4 seconds, but drops his weapon to do so. All passives gained from his weapon are lost for 6 seconds when he acitvates this ability. E- Grounding Spike Gorlag pins the enemies foot to the ground by piercing it with a spike slowing the enemy (Very minor slow). Using leaping might on a target currently effected by Grouding Spike will reset the duration of the slow. R- I Demand Blood Gorlag activates this ability in an aoe around him, terrifying enemies into trembling in place for 1.5 seconds, doing 5%/7.5%/10% of his health as dmg to enemies around him for 3 seconds as attack damage.

I recognize that this ultimate is a) very very bold and b) very different than the one you imagined. I tried to reinvent Gorlag as a champion lusting for the blood of his enemies.

I don't think Orcs exist in LoL. There are the Troll Tribes, but they have a monarchy with a king, not chiefs, then there is the Minotaurs, which do have tribes and most likely chiefs, but Alistar is already the Unbreakable Minotaur.

Also the W should be his passive that also says he can't buy boots.

Agreed good idea! That would be a new mechanic, plus let him be the first orc. Those dudes are badass!

You do know Riot said they would never make an Orc or a Dwarf, because they aren't making a stereotypical fantasy world.

RIP Dragons idea lol. Make him look like an orc and call him something else then lol. Granted i wouldn't think it is stereotypical. They already have a troll a pixie, a viking, a spartan, a ninja etc. Don't think the orc would hurt their fragile universe
