Honestly just want to see what people think about this
This is just a simple character concept came up with. Rather than using mana this character's main resource pool is his gold. Feel free to tell me what you think!
P- Gumdar only has three regular item slots, the other three are team slots that affect the entire team. Any item placed in a team slot is half as effective, but effects (besides unique actives) all allied champions.
Q- Gumdar lets loose his greedy pet niffler on the ground. Enemies that pass by are quieted for a short time, and the niffler steals a percentage of their gold. The niffler then runs back to Gumdar and gives him the stolen gold. If the niffler is slain during its trip back to Gumdar, the gold is given back to the enemy.
W- Gumdar places a small tower with three health. Its health is like a ward and can only be broken with basic attacks. Any creep slain within the radius of the tower (ally or enemy) grants the tower gold. Gold from creeps can only be obtained if another champion did not get the last hit and earn the CS. towers have very large pickup range, but Gumdar can only place one per lane.(cooldown 15 seconds.) Gold claimed by the tower is sent to Gumdar when he casts his ultimate. If the tower is destroyed before his ultimate is cast, the tower sends half of its stored gold to the nearest enemy champion, and half to the nearest allied champion. Towers are not invisible like wards, and do not show visibility in the fog of war.
E- Gumdar enters a cart that grants him an increased movement speed. He can then travel to any jungle camp and claim its territory. Claimed camps will buff allied champions when they are nearby, and attack any enemies. When Gumdar claims a territory he loses gold. A small amount of gold is lost when claiming small camps, but a large sum is used to capture large camps. Dragons and Barron/ Rift herald cannot be claimed by Gumdar. Claimed camps are displayed on the map with blue flags for allies, and red flags for enemies.
When claiming raptors, they become armored and assist the mid lane when a champion activates the camp by left clicking. Wolves also work the same way. These camps are take Gumdar 5 seconds to setup and cost 150 gold in the early game. When leveling his W, the cooldown and setup becomes faster, but the gold says the same.(causes 30 cooldown on E)
When claiming Krugs, Gumdar builds a mine. The mine generates 2 gold every second. To claim the gold Gumdar must travel to the krug mine and take it. Gumdar can either give the gold to an allied champion by selecting a champion after the gold is received. To choose a champion the hud will pop up much like kindred’s hunting bar, but instead will show allies. Krug mines cost only 50 gold to create. Krug mines can be destroyed by enemies in a single hit, but the Krugs will remain uninsured and no be aggravated until struck a second time by an enemy.(causes 30 second cooldown on E)
When claiming Gromp, Gumdar will set up a table that generates potions. When an allied champion travels to the Gromp, they are healed for a percentage of their missing health. The healing is dependant on how long it has been since the last healing potion has been taken. The healing percentage of the potion is maxed at 45 seconds, and is lowered based on how upgraded Gumdars E is.(causes 30 second cooldown)
Red Brambleback and Blue Sentinel both work like a Baron buff. When claimed, The Brambleback or Sentinel will travel to any chosen lane. However, doing so means that they must travel through the river. If the allied team has captured the scuttle crab, the brambleback or sentinel will be granted with a movement speed buff, regardless of whether or not they travel over the scuttle aoe. If the buff is slain on the way, the enemy will receive the buff. Allies cannot kill the Brambleback or Sentinel when the camp has been claimed. If Gumdar holds E and targets an allied Brambleback or Sentinel, it travels back to its camp, but gold is not refunded. When the Brambleback or Sentinel makes it to its tower, it buffs any allied minions passing by. Blue buff on minions grants them attack speed and movement speed. Red buff on minions grants them burn damage and lifesteal against enemy minions, but not towers. Multiple buffs cannot be placed on the same tower. Also, buffs cannot be placed on Azir’s disc of the sun. Gumdar takes 10 seconds to create a Brambleback or Sentinel siphon. It costs 450 gold and the W cooldown is set to 75 seconds.
R- When Gumdar uses his ultimate. All of his three team slots become effective, and the team has whatever bonuses those items give, but halved. Before using his ultimate, the items are 50% effective for just Gumdar. Gumdar’s ultimate lasts for an infinite amount of time, unless he dies or runs out of gold. Using Gumdar’s ultimate drains 2 gold a second, and he must be in the nexus to cast it.
Gumdar has no mana bar. He uses a slow firing musket like weapon. It does a high amount of damage, has slight armor penetration, and causes bleeding for a short time. The bleeding effect does no stack. His musket does almost all of his damage besides his niffler, so it hits hard and has a lot of range. However, it does have a low firing rate.
