Tanky support Champion creation

My friend and I were thinking about the stupidly annoying champions like leblanc, ahri, kat, etc. Those instantly burst and burn champions, and how to deal with them. I think i might have came up with a really nice one that could be sweet for this For said champion ulti (r) for the next 2,2.5,3 seconds based on rank, said champion redirects all damage ally champions take in a 300ish yard radius to himself? While ulti is active he takes 10 % less damage, +1% for each ally/enemy champion within his ulti's radius?

I haven't thought about a QWE ability yet, but i was just posting this out there to see what everyone thought about that?
