Arcade Boss Game Mode
I've wanted a sort of "boss mode" for a long time. A mode where one player is a giant, boosted monster versus 5 other players.
I can only see this working on summoner's rift with the top and bottom lane closed on Red/Boss side. (no towers, lane blocked off/inaccessible by anyone where red side towers would start) Making it only possible to defeat the 'boss' player by running it down mid.
So the idea is that it would be Arcade skin themed, in that we have a group of adventurers looking to take down the big boss for some sick loot. The boss player would be as strong as five champions early on, and nearly impossible to just beat in a 1 v 5. You'd have to go out and earn XP without being caught out and destroyed by the boss player. To prevent simple easy pushing, the boss player's towers would be indestructible while they are alive, but take major damage while the boss player is recovering from a death. Levels would not cap at 18 in this mode, and the boss player's level would be considered ?? for both aesthetic purposes, and for the idea that they're not an actual level that's obtainable (like a raidboss in WoW). The boss player would not need to level up traditionally, but instead get a boost to their stats every time they kill a player or destroy a tower.
I would also say that like Back Alley Brawlers, the boss player can purchase special mercenary type minions to help push, running down mid or spawning on one of the side lanes from the edge of the unplayable area, via a minion spawn.
I feel like something like this would be a TON of fun, and wouldn't have to be stuck to the theme of Arcade, but for it's introduction and for the very obvious reason of marketing skins, it would start as that.
