Yet another Varus Rework Proposal
So the link above was my inspiration obviously. I'm not sure who still cares about varus, but I'm hoping that at least the writer of that link will take a look at this. Currently, varus is a good adc if you get incredibly ahead of your laner and can proceed to poke them out of lane or into a bad fight. Funny thing is is that varus is very hard to win lane with because of his lack of mana and mobility. Because of this, he falls off, so you can never get ahead of the opposing damage. And an adc with no mobility, no mana or good cds to spam abilities, and no damage in comparison to your opponent, and you just lost the game in 5 minutes.
So now for my idea based off of the link. (Idc what you call these abilities, I'm more about what they do for me)
Passive- just take is W from current and make it a real passive. Don't gut a castable space for passives.
Q- same ability and scaling as is current, but with a second arrow being knocked at no cost for 4 seconds after a blight has been procced. This arrow would do 40% damage for 1 stack procced, 50 for 2 and 60 for 3. The arrow would only be recast if a stack were consumed.
W- this ones tricky. The link suggests a new empowered ability like karma or a new type of basic. Personally, I think it should just be a buff to attack speed and purely that, like the next 3 basics would fire doubley fast.(he needs stacks, let's get them stacks)
E- same as the current but with a twist. Again, the slow amount would depend on amount of stacks consumed per champ or enemy. If 3 stacks are consumed, varus would gain a slight buff to movement as well to give him some escape.
R- let's stick to breaking stacks for a better effect. Like the link, a sort of ground altering arrow would fire in a wide line.(thing braum sort of) the line would do dot as well as proc stacks. The amount of stacks procced would determine the stun duration of all enemies hit. Those that walk over the ground after the initial cast would simply be slowed and have whatever stacks on the procced for damage, but for no additional effect.
Again. I know there is little to no shot of this happening but hey, I love the archer man and I'd love for him to be playable. I'd also like to credit to the author of the attached link, as he was my inspiration.
