I would like to suggest the ability to use champion-specific skin shards in order unlock mastery 6-7.
The idea came up when I got a skin shard for a skin that I already owned twice, these skin shards pertained to champions I have yet to unlock mastery 6-7 for.

I kinda doubt that there are enough people who would want to use that feature, so not really worth to implement it.

Tbh, I would rather use a skin shard (for a skin that I already own) that's been in my Loot for a while than spend BE for unlocking mastery 6-7.

Maybe if the value for disenchanting skin shards was kept the same in comparison to how much it rewarded you a few years ago, I would definitely disenchant the skin shards instead. But I have an abundance of OE and what difference is about 200 or a little bit more of OE going to make, given that I may have five-figure OE and permanently unlocking a skin shard would cost about no more than 1300 (I'm not sure about how much it actually costs but my guess probably isn't that far).
Also, I mainly save up BE and end up spending it on buying champions I don't own. So, I really find it a waste to unlock mastery 6-7 unless I receive the champion shard for it.
I'm aware they already lowered the amount of BE it takes to unlock further mastery (I don't remember the exact values, probably from around 3700+ to 2400+), but if I were able to make a proposal then it should have been lowered to around 1300-1500 BE instead (this idea of a proposal for lowering costs drifts away from the main topic, I won't discuss it any further if you decide to bring it up).
