Challenger Ahri Skin

I know it came out back in January with about two weeks to purchase her , but I'm a new player so I never got the equal chance to get her like others. I recently saw this.

For this event they said they are giving out Ahri Challenger Skin on the @lolesports twitter, but I live in Philly and that is all the way in LA. I will most likely never be able to attend one of these events. Anyways I was wondering if League would be kind enough to bring back challenger ahri for two weeks for the people that never got a chance to get her months ago. I really want this skin (the champ I play the most). I also have seen a lot of people asking for league to bring this skin back for months. Ahri is my favorite champ and I love being her, would be even better with the skin though. Like I said I know you guys had a limited edition Ahri last year, but was wondering if you could bring it back this year for a couple weeks like you did a while ago. Would only be fair for the people that really never got a chance to get her a while back or don't live in LA to go an actual event. Thanks for reading this if anyone from the League administration looks at this.

Challenger Ahri is a legacy skin, which means she can (and likely) will return to the store - be sure to keep and eye out. :]

Any chance the skin team will yet see reason and revert the name back to Dauntless? So much potential wasted with this skin and ultimately the entire line.

We don't have plans to change her name back to Dauntless.

It's still regrettable, tho, dedicating an entire skin line to challenger tier players. :/

Wait what? As they're not given to challenger players, bronze scrubs can purchase them too. It's just a regular legacy skin, like the Championship skins.

Except for the fact that the Championship skins celebrate the end of the season, whilst the Challenger skins celebrate the start of a new season.

Also, I hated Challenged Ahri.

Maybe it's just because Ahri, who's already a total bitch becomes even derpy with that skin ...

Too bad. To this day, Ahri players never really got an explanation as to why Riot decided to make an otherwise good looking skin so much worse in the middle of development... especially after pretty much the entire community told you that the name sucks. Oh well.

Basically, the 'challenger' *coughdauntlesscough* skin line is going to function a lot like the 'champion' skin line.

Around the end of the World's Tournament riot releases a 'champion' skin and also open up (almost)all of the previous champion skins for sale. (I say almost because champion Riven got screwed up due to her being marked as the now defunct "limited edition" instead of "legacy")

Likewise, we can expect that riot will release a new 'challenger' *coughdauntlesscough* skin every year around the beginning of the new Ranked season (some time every January) and also re-open every previous challenger *coughdauntlesscough* skin for re-sale.

challenger skin line == legacy

challenger skin line becomes available at the beginning of each new ranked season

all legacy =/= challenger skin line

all legacy skins are not necessarily going to be available at the same time.

Does that make sense?

Yea they will release different legacy skins at different times throughout the next season. (If that's what you mean)

They come back at specific times throughout the year. The Harrowing skins come out around Halloween, Snowdown around Christmas, Champion Skins around Worlds. (Although they do sometimes make exceptions for just a random event or something, but it's still only some of them)
