I need some help/solo queue advise

I will preface that I'm in s2. That said, what can I do to protect myself against assassins when I can't count on my teamates to peel/defend me and when GA is on CD?

GA has a 5 minute CD, meaning that assassins can dive me with their less than one minute CD. I can't rely on my teamates to peel for me/defend me. They don't even try. They just shrug their shoulders and dive the enemy backline saying "That's what assassins do."

So I ask again, what can I do to defend/protect myself from assassins when GA is on CD and my teamates don't even try to help me in solo queue?

PS: Don't say change rolls. I don't enjoy playing tanks.

As an ADC main, I can say that, to me, the most effective way to deal with an assasin is to ward properly and avoid any kind of fight unless you know their position. You also need to keep track of their cooldowns. If you see them use their mobility to react to an ally's engage, or attack another teammate because you are purposefuly way beyond reach, that's the signal to go in and start dishing out some damage until they get their cooldowns back. It's all about map awareness and trying to guess what the assasin will try to do to get to you.

Why is this in concepts and creations anyway?

Well it sounds like this is you playing adc.

I am also s2, but try playing an adc that can survive being dived by assassins and/or can get away quickly.

GA is important to surviving assassins, but if you have no survivability they will still kill you. Also, while GA is on CD it is a useless item, so I would sell it and buy it again later.

So someone like Lucian, Vayne, Xayah, Tristana, or Kai'sa might be good choices against assassins.

If you see an assassin coming in, get out. You don't want to fight against that alone, but if you weren't aware until its too late, you'll have to either play someone who can knock them away (Vayne or Tristana), someone who can get away by dashing or invisibility (Lucian, Kai'sa, maybe Twitch?), or someone who can cc them (Xayah, Jinx, Ashe).

(Vision/Map Awareness is always a good thing to stop you from getting assassinated, so you know to get out before its too late)
