So a long while back, the idea of the "Ink mage" was talked about in an interview with some big bois at Riot HQ. It was to be an Okami style champion, in which you'd paint with your mouse, but that sort of thing is flawed with how actiony and cursor dependent League is.

I personally think it's a great idea, drawing out shapes, lines, or otherwise to interact with your abilities.. But I don't think it should be from your mouse cursor. Instead, I think your CHAMPION should be the brush.

As you move you'd lay down the "ink" after toggling an ability. Similar to how Singed leaves a trail of poison behind him while Q is toggled on. Though, unlike Singed this trail wouldn't directly have an effect on it's own and would most likely be mapped to R, available at level 1 without a point needing to be spent.

This trail would let you "paint" and then interact with your painted shapes with your other abilities.

I just wanted to bring this up again, and see what others think of the idea of using your champion as the brush instead of the mouse.

Its a good idea that of your champion being the brush, but would make it extremelly weak to any kind of zoning, unless it was super fast, because it would have to end the sigil to get its effect.

If the general consensus for a ink mage was that it is too complex and delayed to paint a glyph anywhere in the battlefield, imagine doing it the Singed way
