Li Ruin, Modern Ionian and Mistress of the Whip.

“You wanna dance? Good, cause neither do I, but I’d love to wring your neck!” Meet Li Ruan (Artwork Credit goes to Epic Games and the Paragon team) a dancer of the Ionian Dance, an evacuee of the Noxian Invasion and a dweller of Piltover. In-game, a Top-lane/Jungle Bruiser that exploits the range of her whip to kite melee enemies and execute squishy ranged enemies from a safer distance and her passive to zip around the battlefield, though once in a fight, she can struggle to find her way out.

Preface Hi, I'm Snow, I'm new here, being playing league for a good few years now, though that considered probably have clocked more hours that in healthy, and as an avid creator of miscellaneous stuffs woke up this morning surprised that I hadn't delved into this sort of a thing before. This is my first champion design. I have done my best to make everything fair, fun, and fit-in-able, in that it's designed to be something that could just slot into League and not stand out, or at least that's my goal. This being said, there very well may be some contradictions in the story that I missed or some problems in gameplay that I hadn't foreseen. All comments and criticism welcome and appreciated. **Biography **

Li Ruan (Lie Roo-Arn) was born into a wealthy family of Navori, the birthplace of Irelias unnamed dance, and as were all young girls of the area, forced into dance lessons. Being the tom-boy of the group, there is nothing she could possibly have imagined to be worse, yet always was top of the class, beating out even Irelia. However when the Noxian Invasion reached her province, she was for the first time thankful for the time she was made to waste as a child. Though it wasn’t enough. Her nearest and dearest were slaughtered before her eyes. She escaped Noxious’ grasp weaving through the ranks and stowed away on a ship headed for Piltover. The things here were like nothing she’d ever seen before. The streets, the technology, the people, all memorizing. After having spent some days getting by performing on the streets, she was taken under the wing of a Mr. Medara, who personally crafted Li Ruan’s Plasma-Whip and whom she now serves as a bodyguard, entertainer, and friend. Now dances in her own style; Half Ionian, half her own modern technique that’s designed to make the most out of her favoured weapon and she has never loved her dance as so much.

Abilities

Passive - Extensive Flair

Li Ruan's long whip gives her incredible melee basic attack range (325). Additionally, Li Ruan's first basic attack against an enemy champion or large monster pulls her towards them (10 second cooldown per target).

Q - Whip Crack Target Range 475 | Cooldown 11/10/9/8/7s | Cost 60/65/70/75/80 Mana Li Ruan extends her whip violently in a straight line, dealing 30/50/70/90/110 (+80% Bonus AD) (+10% Targets Current health) damage, slowing the first enemy hit by 20/25/30/35/40% and triggering Extensive Flair.

W - Promenade Target Range Self | Cooldown 14s | Cost 80 Mana Li Ruan gains 25/30/35/40/45% (+15% Bonus AP) Movement speed, immunity to slows and immunity to basic attacks for 2/2.25/2.5/2.75/3 seconds.

E - It Takes Two Target Range 300 | Cooldown 16/15/14/13/12 | Cost 70/75/80/85/90 Mana Li Ruan hones in on an enemy champion or monster for 4 seconds. The third attack Li Ruan makes against target roots them for 1.5 seconds, deals 4/6.5/9/11.5/14% of target's missing health (+100% AD) (+110% AP) Max 200-580 (based on level) against monsters and resets the cooldown of Extensive Flair on the target.

Ultimate - Navorian Waltz Target Range Self/325 | Cooldown 90/75/60 | Cost 100 Mana Li Ruin enters a trance-like dance state for 3/4/5 seconds, rapidly striking the closest enemy champion in range, gaining 30/40/50% movement speed while moving towards an enemy champion, gaining 40/50/60% total attack speed and removing the attack speed cap for the duration. Triggers Extensive Flair and [Insert E-Name Here]. Cannot attack or cast abilities while channelling, but can move.

Notes

DOES NOT work with Rapid Fire Cannon or Runaans Hurricane. DOES work with Titanic and Ravenous Hydra Ult DOES apply on hit affects, they're basic attacks. Also stacks Braum's and Sejuani's Passive. Ult CAN be cancelled
