What would your ideal Ezreal Rework look like?

Hey all, As a lover of Ezreal, it saddens me to see him in such a bad state. I feel like his kit is a little outdated, and instead of a series of buffs I felt like he needed a full scale rework. I came up with my own idea of a rework for him, keeping in tune with his lore(ish), and his overall unique gameplay style, while endeavoring to make him more viable in the meta, help him scale earlier and harder, and keep him balanced.

My Personal Ezreal Rework:

Passive: Rising Spell Force Every Auto Attack that hits an enemy applies a stack of Rising Spell Force. At 6 stacks, Ezreal's next ability will become Empowered, applying on-hit effects and have 10x the chance to Critically Strike. If the ability would already apply on-hit effects, on-hit effects are applied an additional time, for a maximum of two on-hit effects. The Empowered attack from this passive can only be applied using Abilities, not auto attacks. At 6 stacks, if Ezreal continues to auto-attack, he cannot gain anymore stacks but the cool down on the stacks will be refreshed, allowing him to hold the 6 stacks. Stacks last for 4 seconds after not hitting an enemy.

Whenever Ezreal's spells critically strike, instead of applying critical strike damage, reduce the resistance** of the enemy by 3.2% +(0.1% per Ezreal's level), stacking up to 3 times (15% at level) 18. Debuff lasts for 4 seconds after not taking any damage from Ezreal. Ezreal's Abilities cannot gain Critical Strike Chance through Critical Strike Chance gained through Items, Runes, or Masteries.

**The resistance reduced (either ap or ad) will depend on which damage scaling is higher on the ability. If his ability that crits does more AP than AD damage, it will reduce their magic resistance, similar to the way camille's shield works with her passive. This means that his q reduces armor, his e reduces magic resist, and his ulti reduces magic resist

Q: Mystic Shot TARGET RANGE: 1150 SPEED: 2000 COST: 28 / 31 / 34 / 37 / 40 MANA COOLDOWN: 5.5 / 5.25 / 5 / 4.75 / 4.5 Physical Damage: 30 / 50 / 70/ 90 / 110 (+ 110% AD) (+ 40% AP)

Passive: Has a 10% chance to Critically Strike. Empowered: 100% Chance

Active: Ezreal fires a bolt of energy in a line, dealing physical damage to the first enemy hit, and applying on-hit effects. If Mystic Shot successfully hits an enemy, all of Ezreal's ability cool downs are refreshed by 1 seconds.

W: Essence Flux TARGET RANGE: 1000 SPEED: 2010 COST: 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 / 90 MANA COOLDOWN: 9 Magic Damage: 70 / 115 / 160 / 205 / 250 (+ 80% AP)

Passive: Has a 2% chance to Critically Strike. Empowered: 20% Chance

Active: Ezreal fires a wave of energy in a line, dealing magic damage to enemy champions struck and executing minions under 25 percent health (if the minions are not below 25 percent health, no effect will be applied to them. Hitting minions with this ability will not apply a stack of Rising Spell Force). If it hits an enemy CHAMPION, it refunds half its mana cost, and applies a stack of Rising Spell Force.

E: Arcane Shift: TARGET RANGE: 400 COST: 120 MANA COOLDOWN: 19 / 17.5 / 16 / 14.5 / 13

ACTIVE: Ezreal blinks to the target location, gaining 10/15/20/25/30 percent increased attack speed for 4 seconds. Attack speed gained by using Arcane shift can only be applied once per cast and is not stackable. This ability can be cast an additional 2 times for no mana with a 3 second cooldown per cast. After the third cast, or 6 seconds pass without casting this spell an additional time, it goes on cooldown for 19 / 17.5 / 16 / 14.5 / 13 seconds. Casting this ability will not apply a stack of Rising Spell Force.

R: Trueshot Barrage TARGET RANGE: Global SPEED: 2000 COST: 100 MANA COOLDOWN: 120 Magic Damage: 350 / 500 / 650 (+ 80% bonus AD) (+ 60% AP)

Passive: 10% Chance to Critically Strike

ACTIVE: After gathering energy for 1 second, Ezreal fires an energy projectile in the target direction, dealing magic damage to enemies it passes through. Each enemy hit reduces the projectile's damage by 10%, down to a minimum 30% damage, and applies a stack of Rising Spell Force. Upon hitting an enemy champion, the cooldown on his E is decreased by 5 seconds for each enemy hit, for a max of 10 seconds CDR.

I tried to keep it as balanced as possible, while keeping Ezreal's utility, mobility, and play style as much as possible. With this, he would build pretty much the same way, but would need to basic attack to get some ridiculous burst on his Q/E/R. Since his AA range is fairly small, he would have to get a bit down and dirty for his empowered abilities, which will be where most of his tank shred/ damage would come from, therefore I allowed him a few additional jumps with much shorter range, and placed his attack speed steroids on that instead of his passive. He still would not scale on Critical Strike like what is in the meta right now, but he is capable of reducing tanks MR and Armor by up to 15 percent each, allowing him to do more damage to them. His W wold provide some waveclear, which he severely lacks. His Q, when empowered, would do enough damage to compete with the other Crit scaling ADC's late game. His ultimate would still be used as an execute, but it can also be used to reset his E to evade ganks, or jump into a fight, or even just to weaken the enemies a little bit before the fight started.

Let me know how it looks, or post your own fan-made updates below! :D

I like the idea of Ez's W executing minions, I also like the idea of his teleport increasing his power ... but I feel like empowering his Q would make more sense.

I don't know if I like the 6 stacks thing, though if his abilities apply it, it probably wont be so bad.

He only needs better character animation, especially his walking animation.

EZ does not need to be changed. He has a really cool kit right now.
