Awkward key bindings/ Left hand

I've never seen this before in NALCS or when my cousins play, but when I play, the original Q/W/E/R setup doesn't work for me, because I'm left handed. Instead, I put my left hand on the mouse and my right hand on the 4 abilities Q/W/E/R which I swapped to U/I/O/P. The active item hotkeys I use are 7/8/9/0/-/= and "[" key for trinkets. I use J/Space Bar for my summoner abilities and wanted to know if anyone else does that and if that's considered cheating in any LoL official tournament. I've tried using the original Q/W/E/R setup but ended up playing like a Bronze 5 on drugs.
