Why haven't we had a steam punk styled Champion

So i have been thinking, that I know piltover and all their champs are steampunkish but why haven't there been an actual champion that uses stuff similar to the style of steampunk but it is themed around hextech weaponry. i do not know much about how steampunk weapons are created but I know that it involves steam. I feel like if the champion should have a special passive or something where they can upgrade their weapon through the shop similar how gp upgrades his ult.

(I had just watched a youtube video about a hextech mechanic on gaming curios and it got me thinking about it)

Viktor Technically upgrades his "weapons" at the shop, but I assume that's not what you meant.

There are multiple steampunk styled champions with one literally being a steam golem Blitzcrank

I knew blitz was in that theme but i was talking about a more humanoid type of character.

Technically Blitz is humanoid in shape, though I do understand kind of where you're coming from. Most of Piltover's champs fit the bill, though I suppose they don't live up to your standards of "steampunk".

What you want is a character with the steampunk mask, outfit, and trinkets/gadgets, I assume? Someone who really just screams the theme?

Pretty much, but after watching the youtube video "should riot release CeeCee" by Jeremy "Gaming Curios" i was thinking about the whole theme like what you said the character has to "scream Steampunk" but in a lore friendly way like lets say instead of steampunk it is called hexpunk since we are talking about a hextech mechanic. What i think the hardest thing is what roles would the character fit into but that is for riot to decide since my goal is just putting some ideas on the table so that riot could get some ideas from the community(if they still do that)so that we do not feel left out in a creation of a champ that has a really good concept. I do not know why i made paragraphs but it happens when thoughts on a character comes to mind and boy do i love talking about coming up with characters.

All in all i made this post so that we can pitch some ideas to help riot to make some sort of champ that is lore friendly to piltover and is based around an idea that riot came up with but had to put it to the side just so that Braum could be created through the big shield concept.

So i just thought of the character's passive which could be like a fusion of Khazix and Thresh passives. So if the character collects a certain amount of material she could recall and in base the character could upgrade her kit there spending an amount of material collected to do it. Still debating if it should be from using the shop or just right there since recalling entails you that you are either buying or heal after a fight.
