Possible for us to get Map skins in the future?

I came over from dota, their community is extremely toxic, I like how league is and the champs are really great. One thing they had was map skins, same map but you could have a personal taste. They had to be client side only seeing that I could have my map skin and other would have none or their own.

Is there any word or future plan on this, SR map is getting boring and map skins might just be what a lot of legacy players need to help make the game seem like a shiny new jewel and new players can enjoy the new great idea.
