Just an idea I had while sitting in class. The balence is hard, riot has to do a lot of work in between patches to see what's balenced and what needs fixed.

What if the player base could adjust prices constantly? There are already statistics with what items builds are out there, why not start adjusting prices via some metric that takes into account the frequency items are bought player base wide!

ADCs are played too much? Well that'll mean BT and IE prices go up until they are just as viable as getting anything else.

Maybe that will have some unintended problems like forcing out bruisers from the meta, have a price adjustment base in what type of class or what champion is likely to buy what items.

This way you aren't forced to buy some build because it's the most gold efficient, ideally everything should be gold efficient so it'll be what works towards your play style!

How do you guys think this would work?
Do you think this is a better idea than the current system?

What problems do you see with it?

Well if your idea is implemented the "winning the game" will be completely different because maybe sometimes BT will be cheaper and sometimes more expensive (As an example). Also in the NA servers there are literatly more than 100,000 active accounts so the price will vary literatly every second. Then eSports will be completely dependent on the increase or decrease of the items.
