I think it is time for new void champ. May be someone who can push the void lore a little bit. New void champ will provide a chance for if it is needed to update the void lore. For an idea he should be able to be played as top lane and supp. There is no void support champ.
Probably because the design off void champs is boring, purple stuff everywhere.
Riot probably has more creative ideas that they would like to bring to life first.
Rek'sai was only two years ago. Considering it took four years for a new Noxian, that's decent.
Since Champion concepts are continously developed, postponed and reworked they might not have a good mechanic/theme for a Void champion currently. I doubt that we have seen the last of them though.
