Tired of Marksmans with guns/crossbows?
How about an ADC with some other long ranged weapon? I have an idea for a teenage/child character who uses Yo-yos as their weapon. I'm glad Kalista has spears as her weapon, it's a nice change from the others.

Throwing Needles? Summoning a fist from below as a basic attack, just for visuals? An actual whip? Eyes lasers?
Have a champion that has a gun that shoots swords so they can actually use the items they buy.
What about something like DBZ where the champion launches balls of Ki Energy? kamaaaahaaamaaahaaaaa!

How about a sword beam for a basic attack? Like Fierce Deity's blade beams from Majora's Mask, except it deals physical damage instead of magic like

Here's a fun Idea. What if we throw away the projectile All together, and instead use a reach weapon. (in a similar manner to thresh's chain) So not technically a marksman, but it will have the range of a Marksman

Well on a different post i suggested for Zelos Irelias brother the Chinese chain sword or a Fire whip or blades attached to the end of the whip would be pretty cool.
A guy with a high power water hose with a huge water tank on his back. I want this guy to be the next Marksman. He needs to hold the huge nozzle and trigger to the hose like how people hold miniguns, then I will be happy. he could shoot sustained torrents of water out in a line and he could walk around and drench people with it. It would be so cool. CAN YOU FEEL THE POWER?!!!

Right now I'm working on two champions that fit the bill for this requirement. Because we seriously need variety with our marksmen. I'm just asking why haven't we seen some one who throws knives? ( uses axes not knives) and also why no catapults or catapult type champions, those things are super long range and deal a ton of damage.
So yeah probably said more than I should have but those are your teasers. Gimme like a week or 2. I gotta finalize them, get professional feedback and draw their splashes cuz they are pretty much done.
But ever since they did (and a darn fine job too!) when they announced that she was specifically made to get away from crossbows/ bows and guns; I was inspired to also come up with concepts to give more variety to our ADC roster.
