Idea for Hextech Crafting for those with too many excess keys
As I and some of my friends are experiencing, there is an imbalance in chests and keys. I myself have 21 keys but no chests to open, which is a huge waste. I am sure other people are facing similar problems where they either have way too many keys.
So I'm opening this thread to maybe discuss how we can try to change this.
One idea I thought about would be to forge chests from keys. 2 keys to form a hextech chest, 3 keys to form a masterwork.
This makes little sense, but it would help to alleviate this problem. Players earn chests from playing well, but players earn keys from being nice. The main aim of the game is to play well and win, but it is still essential to the community to encourage nice behavior.
So I want to help to give an opportunity for those nice players who arent necessarily good, a chance to be rewarded. This is by turning keys into chests. I have refrained from the idea about turning chests into keys because this could mean that toxic tryhards that do well would be rewarded, even if they are toxic.
