DhaMa Champion Idea

I found an idea for a champion that i thought looked amazing in my opinion, yeah its an old one. But i think it would be awesome to play as this champion. It's name is DhaMa, The Force Of Balance.

I found this idea around 2 months ago and have loved this idea ever sense. This champion combines an aspect of "cute" with the aspect of an epic hero. it could even show a little friendly teamwork as they use abilities or basic attacks. Like here

Honestly, role wise, i think it would be a mage but could also support in a way(at least that is what it looks like), though, knowing how the meta goes we would probably see someone go top or jungle with this champion.

Credit for this amazing idea goes to Rakoon Jesus, here is the link to some more of his work

So, i would personally love to see and be able to play this champion. It really looks like it would be a fun game to play as this champion.

Wasnt this champ scrapped then reworked into kindred.

It looks very similar to kindred in theme, so I'd say you're right.

i remember reading somewhere riot didnt wanna make a true 2 champ champ because there two hard too balance. Look at release yorick and azir either beyond broke or dumpster teir and thats strong reliance on minions not two seperate entities of a whole.

That's why I voted "no". Is it a good design? Sure, but it is just too close to Kindred.

No, this was a fan concept from inception. It got attention around the time of Kindred's release because "It's a duo champion and half of it's white and half of it's black and wow Rito copied this!"

The closest Riot has come to a successful Duo Champion is Ivern, because he feels so hand-in-hand dependent on Daisy and Daisy dependent on him.

Annie uses Tibbers to either Stun targets or Tank towers. Yes, they made Tibbers scarier after Annie dies, but she doesn't really control that. You're afraid of Annie if she's alive and Tibbers if she's dead, but not really the two working in tandem. Contrast this to how Ivern uses Root Caller to help Daisy reach a target and puts shields on Daisy to protect her/slow enemies, both of which feel more like two halves working together.

Yorick I feel is the second closest champion to having a Duo nature achieved, but it's undermined by the Maiden doing her own thing once she gets a taste of killing towers. On the one hand, them doing their own separate thing is cool and make each seem more independent, but it also makes them seem less unified. Far less of an inseparable Duo than Ivern and Daisy, and far less like Yorick relies on the Maiden, nor like the Maiden relies on Yorick.

Mordekaiser can shield his Ghosts, using them for movement speed... and that's about it unless I'm missing something. Again it feels less like Morde relies on his Ghosts and more like they're an added bonus.

Annie Her E also affects Tibbers as well, making both of them at the same time more defensive.

Yorick The Maiden always prioritizes whoever Yorick was attacking if she is nearby.

Mordekaiser He can W his ghost for the AoE damage without having to solely rely on just his allies & minions. If Morde built Rylais, he can use his ranged ghost to slow down escaping enemies from afar in order for him to catch up.

i mean are they duo champs? Zyra summons more often then them buts thats what they are, summoners, this is two beings, like kindered. They look amazing though.

I no they talked about doin a duo champ in one of the dev diaries and said they couldnt figure out howbto balance it. I would like to see a permanet pet champ eventually though.

DhaMa is a fan concept by Samuel Youn.

As awesome as Samuel's work is, Riot Inquitee came to the original thread to confirm that Kindred was actually not directly inspired by DhaMa and that the first concept of our little Lamb & dear Wolf was created a few months before Samuel had even posted his own champion concept of the Force of Balance duo for the first time.

Why are we reviving an old thread with a clone of it? That thread already got a ginormous amount of spotlight, even on YouTube, so I don't see the point. No disregard to Rakoon, but still.

Kindred already resembles this, so no.

They basically used these 2 for Star Guardian Jinx. Lol

In terms of lore this could be the entity that ShenShen tries to keep in balance and/or the essence of KinderedKindred. Dha being more utility based and Ma being more offensive. It'll be cool if it was affected by the current status of the game. For example Dha becoming stronger and Ma weaker if your team is ahead and Ma becoming stronger and Dha weaker if your opponents are ahead, or either way around. But DhaMa would be at it's strongest when the game is at a deadlock. The status of the game could be determined by amount of turrets destroyed and/or total kills and/or total gold etc.

I really love this character design, but I do think it is too similar to Kindred in terms of colour palette. I'd like it to be more of a light and darkness contrast, rather than a black and white contrast.
